The hotel refuses to believe the temperature telling us it will cool off, everything is fine, what's wrong with us. We have been here four hot miserable days sweating in our beds while it is a lovely 68 degrees outside. The window has been open however it opens only about 4 inches And provides no relief. Hotel won't even provide a fan. The hotel's attitude is condescending and belligerent while they enjoy a cool comfortable lobby area.

A special shout-out to Federica Oliva - She is standout manager who clearly loves her job at the Four Points Sheraton and was incredibly helpful. The property was spotlessly clean and we felt 100% safe from COVID-19 with the measures the hotel has taken. Free parking is included with your stay. We loved the location because it was quiet and the grounds were very well kept. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool and then going into the old-town for sightseeing and dinners. The front desk sells bus tickets or you can take a taxi...either way it's super easy to get into the old-town. The hotel is well worth the little time it takes... The room was very spacious, quiet and modern. Everything we needed, including a mini-fridge, good A/C and incredible coffee maker, were in the room. The bed was perfect for a great night's sleep. We even had a nice view of the wooded grounds and pool. They also have a good fitness room (rare in most of Europe) that was perfect for working off some of the carbs and calories from Siena's great restaurants. I was surprised someone had a negative experience with the breakfast. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I am very picky about what I choose to eat at the start of the day. The Four Points Sheraton's breakfast was one of my favorites: It was well-staffed and had a wide selection of eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, juices, and really good cappuccino. We definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning soon for another great visit to Siena.

The views are breathtaking no matter where you are onsite, especially waking up to it if you have a patio. PRICE: For the most cost-efficient room, rates run at €4,000 per night. DINING: There are only two sit-down dining venues on property, Osteria La Canonica and two-starred Michelin restaurant, Campo del Drago. While both are exceptional in their own cuisines, I do wish there were more restaurants on-site. SPA: I had a facial and a deep tissue massage, but both were disappointing--overhyped and expensive for what you're getting. The facial felt like a basic cycle of product being applied and washed off x5. As for the deep massage, I fell asleep, which is never a good sign. I want to clench my teeth as knots and kinks are being worked out by a professional. Unfortunately, we never got there. ACTIVITIES: Since you're isolated on property, you can arrange for activities on/off property with guest relations. For on-site activities, transportation is complementary (ie: Brunello tasting, bicycling, golf). Unfortunately for off-site activities, expect to pay for transportation (ie: truffle hunting, horseback riding). While once again, pricey, you can't beat the experience at this beautiful property-- especially the truffle hunting! From the gracious, welcoming reception staff to the clean, comfortable room and fabulous amenities, we loved our entire stay. Encompassing an organic vineyard, the picturesque grounds also provide a full spa, restaurant and pool among the grapes and olive groves. On our final day here, we were lucky to receive a private tour and tasting hosted by Simone, the on-site sommelier. While we arranged several wine tastings/tours throughout our two week Italy/Spain holiday, this was by far the most special. Intimate and informative with an unbeatable setting (cozy tasting room with intense thunderstorm as the backdrop). We bought a few bottles of the wine (rosé and chianti) at just 7 euros apiece! Out on the terrace, the buffet breakfast was better than many hotels (hellooo, crepes made-to-order!) and the spa was sheer bliss with extremely well priced services. That massage tho. Oh! Also! After a very hot sleepless night we told them the issue and they brought my parents the smallest fan in the world. And came and fixed our dial so it would work. Once again we had to complain. They moved my parents and friends rooms to bigger rooms with ac. Thank God! That first night I noticed ants on my bed so I brushed them off and tried to sleep. When I won't up at 4 I found bug bites all over my legs. I was grossed out and told my parents. One of the bites had been a spider and a part of my hip was huge. On the second night we found more bugs. And they never came to clean our rooms or give us new water bottles. Finally on the third night I woke up to more bugs in my best and I found there was a hole in the wall with them streaming out of it. I complained and they said they would take care of it. Before I left the bugs were still there and no one helped us. The outdoor pool is beautiful but there are not enough chairs to accommodate the amount of people staying here. The pool bar is not good there was a bartender who put sugar in my drinks that should never have sugar in them. My family made a reservation to go to dinner at the main restaurant. We got caught up in Siena and we canceled the reservations. They charged us a service fee to our room even though we did not eat there. The fee was like €15 a person. We had breakfast each morning and the first morning the kitchen was closed but the staff did not tell us for over an hour after we ordered eggs. If they had just said we do not have a way to cook it we would have moved on with our lives but instead we sat and waited for our food for too long. The stuff seemed mad and annoyed constantly and the servers were not helpful or attentive. The indoor pool was closed through out our stay. They used the small Church outside our building as a Laundry room. Very rude. I have traveled with my family for many years and I can not tell you how unhappy I am with our stay. We did not get what we expected from the Hilton name and as a points member I could not be more disappointed and dissatisfied. We will never return and that's quite sad because we wish to attend the Palio again. Get more staff, get red of the bugs and fix your staffs attitude. The only thing good was the pizza place even though we had to calla waiter over to take our order the food was lovely. The out door pool is nice. The only one to be helpful to us was Julia she tried so hard to help us with our troubles.

The property is stunning, and "Insta worthy". We only had dinner here for a special occasion. Great service, was able to eat outdoors under covered awning. If not staying at the property, reservations are recommended. They have a few themed tasting menus 3 or 5 course with optional wine pairings as well as ala carte. If doing 5 course tasting menu everyone at table must order from same page. The duck and crispy pig were my favorite dishes. Take some time to enjoy the sunset, walk the hidden vegetable garden, take a peek inside, it's beautiful.

Service level is extremely low, no outdoor service, drinks, etc. Dined at their acclaimed restaurant was anything but special... could eat better food anywhere in the vicinity. Odd menu, tough florentine steak, barely any vegetables and they basically asked us to leave because it was late. Hotel called our room because our two guests who dined with us apparently were not allowed to visit us in our room. I asked for a different room after we checked in, couldn't accommodate. Unfortunately we prebooked three nights and have 2 more nights that cannot be cancelled. Would stay away from this hotel and restaurant - many many many better places nearby and much better staff, service, and accommodations.

The private rooms here have no safe, have a bunk bed, is cramped, and overall not the pleasant respite from hostel life that travelers seek. Unfortunately there were also some interesting stains on my blanket which really made me uncomfortable using it. I recommend either staying in Florence or Pisa and doing a day trip by train to Siena, or staying in a bed and breakfast in Siena itself. This hostel is simply located too far from the city centre, and getting to and fro is anything but convenient as the advertised shuttle wasn't available twice during my visit.

I'm happy with my stay and compared to all the expensive accommodation you have around Siena, this is hostel is a godsend.
