Awful service, yard waste has not been picked up 4/6 times this season, even though it is paid for in advance ($400/year). Then last week our weekly garbage was not picked up and our cans are full. Month and a half trying to get my container replaced. Promised every few days someone would come, it has been escalated. Very polite liars at best. First time, the driver was too lazy to get out of the truck to see the back side which is crushed and wheels held on by tape, but hey the front looks fine so CANCEL THE REPLACEMENT! Next time escalated to a supervisor who promised me she would call back to verify it was completed, but you did not, did you Heather? Why because your guy lied again and said the container was not out though it sat out all night and I have camera footage to prove it. Terrible service. Was forced to switch to them by oldham county. They literally never have a normal pick up time wwnt to charge for everything. You miss a pick up it's 33 and some change. You have a large item it's 80 bucks per item and let's not forget they literally don't touch a can so don't have more garbage than will fit in the cans or your screwed. Called to inquire with customer service about rates continuously increasing. No one was able to provide me a concrete answer besides rates increase overtime. I understand that however, but my rates have increased substantially since becoming a customer, which I've been a customer since 2016. Also, when speaking with the rep she stated that there will be an additional 17.15% Fuel increase, 18% environmental fee and administrative fee of $5.95. They missed my pickup more than they actually picked up my trash. When I contacted the company to request services after they missed my pickup, I would wait over a week for the request to be filled. I've had service with them, and Tuesdays are my pick up days. Well Tuesday came and told me that they've been on an delay. I called Wednesday about no pick up and I got told they was still out and if it doesn't get picked up then we will come on the 26th. Well Thursday came I called them and as I was talking to them I get a text message from them saying. We will pick it up on the 27th. To my frustration I thought this was unacceptable due to my trash being set out since Tuesday plus it's been hot. So now today they are supposed to come out today still. So I'm waiting to see, but I got another text stating if they don't come today it will be Monday. Come on if it's Monday, Tuesday is my regular pick up day. Horrible company!! We used them at our previous home and when we moved we scheduled a container pickup for trash and recycling. They picked both up and have been trying to bill us for the past 2.5 years. We've called and had the charge removed multiple times with a zero balance until lo and behold we get another bill months later. Zero stars and completely incompetent company. Awful trash company. If your trash can isn't in the perfect place for them they will not grab it. I have been using Republic since March (not by choice) and they have skipped our house around 6 times. I've even watched them drive by our house out of my window. When called to ask why, they will say it's too close to the mail box, etc. I've seen two people in the truck so why can they not get out & move it over? In my opinion that should be part of the job & would take less than 10 seconds. I've noticed they also skip other people we live by too if there's is not perfect. We will call and ask them to come by the next day to pick it up if the trash is really full. Well we have called each day since Wednesday & they still have not picked it up.... It's been 6 days. Yard Waste missed pickups 40228 zip code. I've been skipped 5 time's out of the last 6 weeks and have reported every time. I've asked many times if someone could talk to the driver and make him aware that driver has one pickup on my court right off the Adam's Run Rd that also has pickups that driver is picking up those. I been told many times leave can out and someone will be out. This never happens. Customer service when I call in does nothing to get this issue resolved. MIDDLETOWN, Kentucky recently switched from Rumpke to Republic and it's been a total disaster since the switch. Workers regularly miss several areas on all services. no garbage pick up, missed recycling by several weeks, garbage currently piling up from yard waste not having been picked up and all garbage cans already full. our whole street called to ask about pick ups and we're always told that they scheduled us a pick up for the next day since ours was not picked up but it's lies since they NEVER show up to pick up. Middletown council has a lot to answer for on this. Our town is becoming garbage from this decision. read more

This is absolutely the worst company. They have missed picking up my trash 4 times since November, 3 times since the middle of February, twice in the last 3 weeks. I was missed again Thursday morning. I called Friday morning at 8 and was met with another apology. I was told they would pick my trash up either that day or on Monday (yesterday). Today is Tuesday and my trash is still sitting out at the end of the driveway. I called this morning and was apologized to yet again. Every time I call, I'm told they are sending this to a supervisor to review why I keep getting missed. I have yet to hear back from a supervisor on what they plan on doing to make sure my traah does not get missed anymore. My trash is set out by 10-11 pm Wednesday nights (the night before pickup). They manage to pick up my neighbors, but can't seem to get mine. I have security camera's that show my trash is set out on time. This is beyond frustrating. Set up service incorrectly. But got it fixed and had an ok couple of years (where the bills kept increasing). Recently made a change to my service. Got automated calls about billing problems. After another 30 minute call, thought we had it fixed. 2 weeks later they just take my trash container. Call, turns out my service was cancelled. It would be over a week for another container to be delivered. Evidently they don't even do new service in my area anymore. Acted like they were doing me a favor. No apology. I moved into a new home and had cans delivered on 11/15 and had to call every day for two weeks reporting a missed pick up. I spoke with a supervisor on the last call and told them to pick up the cans as I will be finding a new trash service. Republic forces you to prepay for yard waste removal, and then skips the pickup more often than not. There is no local customer service contact, and the remote customer services doesn't do anything to correct the problem. There are better options than Republic Services. read more

Terrible Service. Yard Waste not picked up on 5.13.2022, I called and reported the missed pick up. I decided to wait until the next scheduled pick up on 5.20.2022 asked for a credit which was given. The next pick up on 5.20.2022 was missed, I was in the yard and witnessed the driver come down the street, pick up a neighbors yard waste and leave without picking up mine. I call Customer Service, @ 4:30, right after this happened and was told they would contact the driver to come back, this did not happen, yard waste still not picked up. I called on Monday 05.23.2022 8 AM and again spoke to Customer Service and was told my missed pickup was scheduled for Tuesday 05.24.2022. I asked for an Operations Supervisor to call me back, this happened on 05.23.2022, where I was assured the issue was being addressed with the driver and my yard would be picked up on Tuesday 05.24.2022. Tuesday came and went and my yard waste was not picked up. I called Customer Service again, Wednesday 05.25.2022 8 AM, I received unprofessional and rude service, constantly interrupted and spoke over by their representation. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told that an escalation would be put in, however it could be 24 hours before a call back happened. I asked for that escalation to happen and another escalation to the Operation Supervisor be submitted as this a continuous unresolved issue. Waiting on my call back. It is hard to believe in this age of technology and collaborative tools that it takes 24 hours for an escalation to a supervisor to satisfy a customer who is not receiving the service being paid for. Be wary of using Republic Services Louisville for yard waste pickup and be prepared to spend your time waiting on hold to speak to customer service, only to have your issue not resolved and wait more time for a supervisor to all you back. They were great. Charging quarterly always picking up everything. Then one day they pick up my can and took it with them. I noticed that my bill was late (automatic payment?) So when I called to ask what was going on I was told that I needed to make a payment with late fees and a reactivation fee which I did. The next day the automatic payment came out. I called again and was told that they would credit me back the amount of the auto draft (not the late fees or reactivation fees). I have yet to be repayed or get a trash can so I can have trash haulled away. read more

They called on me every week for not moving my can to the street but when I canceled they had not problem getting out to take half my trash out to put in the grass.
