Our project manager, Arthur was on-time for the scoping appointment. He took time to understand our needs, investigated the attic, ducts and all the existing equipment, before making any recommendations. He designed the optimal system for our house to be cost effective, provide highest comfort and be energy efficient. He was not pushy and was upfront about the ballpark estimates and timeline. He also walked us thru the various rebates that are available for the replacements from local utilities. Arthur's quote was very competitive, in fact better than those quoted to us by Costco referred contractors. Nur's installation crew - Eldar, Bhakridin, were very professional and thorough. They didn't rush the job and left the job site clean and clutter free each day. They accommodated our requests for placing the electrical wires and conduits so they are not in the way. All the equipment both indoor and outdoor were cleanly laid out, secured and wiped down before hand off. Always smiling and respectful, one of the best installation crew we have had. As a white glove contractor they took care of all the permitting, inspection paperwork w/ the city, all the paper work for us to receive the rebates. They even completed the warranty registration with the manufacturers for all the equipment! We would highly recommend Arthur and Nur HVAC to anyone in the Bay Area needing heating and cooling solutions. We would definitely be going back to them ourselves when the need arises.

They mounted rat spikes where I wanted, they put the lines and the units exactly where I asked and I've had no issues at all. Also, what was a bit shady is when I called on day one the phone call went straight to a man. On day two, there was a call service where you needed to press numbers and an operator eventually answered, who was a woman. If you need someone right away and pay whatever, then five stars. Just know you're being ripped off

I noticed they had shoes available of varying heights to simulate what it might look like alog with hair clips etc. Theres a platform they have you stand on so they can be at eye level to the hem if needed without crouching too low. These ladies/ folks are the real deal. Pro tip: there is parking available for customers past their shop in case street parking is complicated.

A few days ago I noticed that on one of our faucets, if I closed the hot water side too fast there was a little bit of a rattle under the house. I thought I could handle it myself after asking Perplexity what it could be and installed a water arrestor. That didn't help so I thought, maybe it could be the strapping. I reached out to Handy Plumbing Man on a Saturday and they were quick to respond that they could have someone there on Monday. Monday morning came and their technician, Miguel, went down and found that one of the pipes they had worked on wasn't totally secured. No problem, mistakes happen. He said he'd call the office to get technicians over to check the strapping on the work below. I had to go into work but did get a message from them later on that day to see if they could get someone over the same day (Monday) to fix it. This is more on me that I had already gone into work, but they said they could do tomorrow morning at 8am. The guys, Carlos and Baltazar, came bright and early, went under the house and secured the pipe and then some. Awesome company!

After I reached out for service, he came within just a couple of hours. Alex is a complete pro. He fixed our oven where no one else could. The parts were no longer available so Alex took our oven door to his shop and modified it so that it didn't need the new part. It works just as well as if we had paid for the part. He fixed another appliance that had broken down as he was walking out of the house from fixing the oven. He gets it done. read more

Fixing the disposal was a very small and fast task, but they told me (after it was done) that their minimum fee was $185. That shocked me, as they were there and were going to continue with a more significant task with the fridge. When the technician checked out the fridge (25 years old), he found it needed several parts replaced and a lot of work cleaning stuff out that had accumulated inside. It took about two hours. The total cost was about $1,400. I am fine with the cost of the work done on the fridge, as parts for a Sub Zero are expensive and it took a lot of time. The fridge should be good for another ten years. But I remain annoyed at the charge for fixing the garbage disposal. It was petty.

Adlan, the company owner, answered my call right away and was able to come for an on-site diagnosis the same day. He checked the pressure of the coolant system and that was all fine. Turns out the plastic drain tube that came with my mini-split was cracked up inside the plastic housing. He had some much more robust rubber tubing, routed that through the existing small hole in the wall (that the previous hose had cracked off in) and rigged up an adapter to connect securely into the mini-split. I'm always curious how things work and Adlan was very personable and professional as I peppered him with tons of questions about all things HVAC. I also mentioned the furnace in my house was not performing well and he offered to run some tests on it for no charge. Turned out the "inches water column" pressure was set too high. Adlan adjusted in and the whole system was running better in less than 10 minutes! He didn't try to upsell me at all. I absolutely recommend AD Mechanical.

However, they said the part was not under warranty and we would have to pay for the same part again. We are very unhappy about this and will no longer use this company. They do not honor their work!
