I go to her office in Ventura at Cabrillo Radiation Oncology, right above CMH Cancer Center, and sometimes on a good day I ride my bicycle. What I really like about Dr. Kong is that she will not give up on her patients. I have heard so many stories that make me cry about her courage and treatment plans for her patients. She is so smart, super positive and makes you feel safe. It's best to have questions written down when you go to see her or any doctor, because it's so sensitive, cancer that is, and my mind goes blank because I am so afraid or worried remembering what I have been through. in May 2014 I diagnosed with prostate cancer . I quickly found out there are a lot of treatment…read moreoptions but not a lot of long-term ,side-by-side comparisons because of all the new treatments developed in the last few years. One of my Doctors made an appointment for me with Cabrillo radiation ( Dr Fogel ) I had a very productive appointment with Dr. Fogel he spent 45 minutes with me discussing different options that were available to me . I never felt like a number nor did I ever feel rushed. This medical office should be a role model for other doctors offices . There was a few occasions in my six weeks of treatment, I saw Dr. Ronnick who was very helpful and on the same page with Fogel on my treatments. The front desk staff are very efficient and friendly. The back (radiation) staff are a class act super friendly and very professional. I only wish I could give the doctors and staff 10 stars.
