A cocktail menu in English only (how is that cool? How is exclusion of of actual Polish citizens from participation in their own bar a statement of anything other than elitism for its own sake?) describes a longish list of mostly disappointing drinks, all on the sweet side. They aren't badly priced though (but absurdly, a bourbon and soda cost nearly twice the price of a drink with fire and berries and muddled passionfruit that took 15 minutes to make). UPDATE: The owner tells me they now offer their cocktail menu in Polish as well. Good for them. And the beer list is pathetic: Grolsch or Grolsch. At a time when Poland is going through a craft-beer renaissance, this just won't do. UPDATE: The owner has sent me their new, much more respectable beer list (mostly Belgian beers). My original three-star rating stands, despite these improvements. It was generous the first time but now seems fair.

We had to wait a few minutes for one to open up though. We ordered 2 different waffles, a Bueno and a Pistachio one. The place was very busy but they took only a few minutes to come out. The waffles were warm, a little crispy on the outside, but still a little chewy on the inside which is how I like them. The flavours were great, the sauces and creams are delicious and we will definitely go back and try something different. The prices are normal, 18-24 for a waffle with loads on top, or I think it was about 7 for a plain one. The staff were pleasant, efficient, and were able to speak English once the Polish exchange became too difficult. I will go back!

Waff love is a cute dessert bar serving up fresh waffles with a variety of toppings. The husband and I shared a waffle with nutella, bananas, and mint chip ice cream. While this was a good treat, the waffle was really chewy and I would have preferred it if it were soft or crunchy... They also sell lemonade there, which didn't taste at all like lemonade... it was almost like a tea with herbs in it... it was good, just nothing like what I expected. I think this place is worth checking out if you're passing by, but it isn't worth going out of your way for.
