As I tried to explain to her all I wanted was layers, and probably wasn't explaining so well that I didn't want any more of length taken off because my hair was pretty short. She began being sarcastic towards me and making fun of what I was saying. Finally we got to cutting my hair and she left my hair all choppy. Instead of just blending the layers so they're not so dramatic and noticeable, she left my hair super choppy. I hate my hair so much. I'm desperately now trying to find someone who will fix what she did. Don't bother going to this place. Your better off spending a lot more at a recognized salon then at this place where they just gossip and talk bad about people. She should consider taking a few more up to date classes on hair because it seems like she a bit old school with hair. All 120 strands have to distribute all over the head. Bit only at the middle of the scalp. $130 an hour. She told me it will takes an hour. So it end up 2 hours. So I paid 2 hours. But my scalp is hurting. Plus I texted her to add more strands or fix it 10:45am and she said ok I can do your hair today. Her hour is 7-6pm Saturday. So I said I will be there soon. By 12pm she said I'm leaving 1:15pm and done for the day. So I called up Xtina and she gladly fit me in her Sunday morning schedule. Will fix Olga's extension mess for $50 flat rate. So I'm glad.

I did see others leave the salon with some pretty sharp styles but I guess they were more important. It could be that I don't look like I come from money, which would explain why the owner could take me or leave me as a client. I don't like to talk when I'm at the salon so I appreciated her not prying into my life but after the fifth time she asked me where I worked, I was really starting to get a little annoyed. At that point, I just wished she would just stop talking to me. In the end, she may have asked me where I worked about 15 times over the length of time I was going to that salon. Towards the end, I thought about coming up with some crazy professions just to see if she was even listening to me when I answered. I also had a problem with scheduling one time. Her excuse to me was that she had me booked the day before and figured that I chose not to come. I was so livid because not once had I ever stood her up so I felt that she should have called me the day before if in fact I did have an appointment scheduled with her. If she had, I would have made my way there. I could go on and on about what I didn't like about the service there but it's not worth it. If she feels you're worthy of her circle, you'll get star treatment but if you're an average chic like myself, be prepared to be ignored and take the backseat to the other clients who are more important. Her indifference is what really got to me and I'm sure she hasn't even realized that I'm no longer going there.

I was very nice when visiting this salon, I even was extremely tolerant of a situation beyond her control and never got upset, just waited patiently until my hair could get done. I was late once (30 min.) and though I had been patient with her it was interesting how she did not reciprocate, and I know she remembered when I was patient. But despite my patience and good tips I have to say I don't think I was part of the "inner" circle. I often got the feeling she could care less about the way I left the salon. I've seen some decent styles leave there and lot's of kissing up too but I'm on the quiet side and would make small talk when we were mostly alone in there. I got the feeling though that I wasn't up to her circle standards and so doing my hair was of no importance. The last time I got a really short hair cut and saw this one piece of hair sticking out by my ear. You think she would cut it! Nope, - I just wanted to see if my hunch was right. Needless to say I cut it myself later. Major attitude - she washed my hair and asked me which side I wear it/part it on. I hesitated for a moment (to think) and she quickly brushed her hand over my head and walked me to the hair-dryer. I figured we were still discussing it so I then said "to the left". I was quickly put in my place with an answer "It's too late! - I needed your input back at the bowl!". I was stunned by the sharpness of it. Totally unneccesary. The relaxer she used irritated my scalp a little and so I had to always be washed out sooner. She was attentive to that but the last time she left it too long I thought. I'm moving on and I doubt she will notice. Business must be good with the inner circle I guess. If you are not part of it I wouldn't bother go here. This was the OWNER - I don't know about the others, so maybe you can try one of them if you are desperate enough.
