They even said we might have the wrong name but still refused to help her. Absolutely disgusted with this group. They should be ashamed. Numerous times scheduling was completed incorrectly. We would arrive and they would say my appt was earlier in the day or a different day than confirmed. My work schedule does not change so I know the scheduling was done incorrectly. The biggest problem. An ARNP told us my son was in liver failure based on labs. This was not the case. SHE FAILED to look at the big picture of his labs and therefore caused us to panic and believe we were overmedicating our child which was not the case. A psychiatrist evaluation was done via tele therapy and the MD began to diagnose my child with several different labels within 10 minutes of a conversation. The low level of mental health care provided by BayCare is unacceptable. A TOTAL overhaul is necessary for this department. Especially given the amount of people we have today with mental health issues.

Kourtney D. reached out every couple of days to see how I was doing and she was the only one who did that and made me feel so comfortable So she is the reason why I chose Clean Recovery. Then when I arrived, I met Chuck who registered me in and was fairly new employee, the most humble, funny person with the best attitude Great person to first meet when I arrived. I will never forget you, Chuck thank you for all the laughs and telling me that I got it.. Then the third person was Stephanie the head tech leader Where do I even begin such an amazing soul and the realest person that you could ever meet so helpful even when she was overwhelmed, she never said no, always with a smile and would do anything for you. I love you Stephanie and you'll be very missed I'm lucky that I got to meet someone like you Then there was Bridgette, another Tech I gave Bridgette every emotion that I was going through the first two weeks. She was the one that would happen to be there and get the raft of it. I bow down to you, Bridgette for never turning your back on me or never giving me an attitude when I was venting or going through a ton of emotions. You are an amazing person, a hard worker and I'm very lucky to have met you as well I will miss you very much and I will also never forget you being there for me Then there was Jordan another Tech with long hair His nickname was grizzly bear. He's very firm and strong and he doesn't tolerate nonsense and extremely hard worker he's Management material. but, his heart is huge and there were multiple times that he was there for me and would go out of his way to help me or anyone else and also makes me laugh. Jordan, I will miss you deeply and I know in your future you will be super successful in whatever you do Clean recovery is lucky to have you Then there's Patrick another Tech Patrick's like a big teddy bear. He was also fairly new when I arrived learning the ropes. I don't think Patrick has a mean bone in his body to anybody. He is so positive and wants the best for everyone and that's a rare thing to find in people and I'm lucky to have been part of your life Patrick and you will be very missed And there was Brady another tech Full of energy times 20 and he knows if you break any rules there's no hiding anything from Brady, but also has a big heart and would do anything for you, if it was allowed . I'm very lucky to have met you too Brady you'll be very missed Then there is Jasmine who also is a tech and is a extremely hard worker (I feel like she never goes home LOL) and is always here with a great attitude and cares for all. I will miss you Jasmine Then you have `-Damien & Rhonda two other techs The most sweetest kindest, loving people that also would do anything for you I will miss you both All of the techs that work in the Tampa location. If it wasn't for them, people would be losing their minds. They are the ones that make Clean recovery a better experience 100% Then you have Julia, who was my therapist, Heather V who is in charge of all the therapists, McKenzie who is case manager, Brian, who is the tech supervisor and Jessica, who is the nurse, and then Heather E who runs the show each and every one of you made my experience at Clean recovery so positive, uplifting and also difficult lol lol lol but truly helped me and made me feel like Clean Recovery was my home. Thank you to all of you and I'll never forget any of you

These people want to convince you of their reality, which diverges from a shared reality of truth. They will make you sign NDA's containing odd religious/spiritual references ill-befitting a legal document. In the end you'll be left with no money, whether or not you have insurance since they don't accept it despite charging YOU pre-negotiation insurance rates (overcharging massively) I just described, factually and in no way out of context, exactly what your experience will personally be at this facility. To sum it up, they take your soul. They leave you with nothing. And in the end, assuming something actually IS making you sick, and it isn't just a lot of stress they're taking advantage of, you'll be left for dead. Welcome to a cult. By the way I was diagnosed with the same shit as the son of the lady with the other review. Mold and Industrial toxicity, and Lyme disease. They were helpful in getting me on my previous regiment meds that had been pretty successful for the last few years. They did have me take a cognitive assessment test for ADHD even though I had already been taking meds for that. They also made me get an EKG, a bloodwork panel, and the strangest one to me was an eight panel drug test. the EKG turned into having to get $1000 echocardiogram, for an anomaly, that potentially has no effect upon my health. The cognitive assessment was about an hour and a half and pretty intense and seemed very abstract to assess someone's diagnosis of ADHD trying to memorize strange shapes made of colors that all look exactly the same and then having to try and remember them 10 minutes later. It was also a $200 Test. So establishing care there has been quite expensive expensive and I will follow up with more information. Once I have my second appointment at this point I would recommend be aware of the amount of work that they make you do whereas my previous psychiatrist had me do just some bloodwork, and none of that other stuff.

I was not ready to do the hard work and I spent my time unwisely. I left the program completed but I was angry and frustrated all the time - and that was on ME. I just completed my second stay. I emailed Kathy and Karen, who I knew from before - and within an hour I received a kind and loving email saying of course you can come back. I hope people read this and know what a special thing that happened then, because that email kept me from going through with a plan that would have devastated all of those I love. It saved my life the same as if you shocked a flatline back to life. I entered broken and so very sick and suffering. Every single person there loved me through 35 of the hardest but most healing and beautiful days of my life. The women there, the staff, are the most amazing people in this field. Heed the negative reviews! Do not waste your 30 days of residential insurance authorization on The…read moreWave. This program is a disgrace to the residential level of care. Most bedrooms don't even have windows, and those that do are dark. Some bedrooms are dark even made with partitioned walls in the middle of a living room or a hallway. The weakest link here is the clinical staff. The therapists are YOUNG and don't appear to have done their own work or have much experience with working with anything they claim to treat. They also do not work on wknds, there is not even an on call clinician. While I found them to be 'nice,' I also found them to be clueless, especially Noel and Tori. Autumn seemed a little better, but openly talking about her early pregnancy in an all-women's mental health facility is not a wise idea (I was there for traumatic perinatal loss, as were several others, and it was well-known.) The groups far surpass the recommended group size (8 members) because the entire community is in all groups together, which is up to 18 women. So if the primary method of therapy is group, which theirs is, you're not going to get much attention in a 90 minute group with 15 women. And they are strict with 1 hr individual sessions twice per week. That is not even close to enough time, but it doesn't matter because the therapists aren't qualified to treat anything. My psychiatric evaluation was done over the phone. Yes, I was in a residential treatment center, and I did not meet with a psychiatrist or a doctor. The overnight staff is reduced to 18 yr old medication technicians, meaning if you are in acute crisis, you will likely be Baker acted (sent to the psychiatric hospital.) This place is more than happy to dispense nearly any medication without question, some women were on 3-4 doses of benzodiazepines per day. You can't feel or work on much when your nervous system is shut down. Their primary mode of treatment here is meds, not therapy. There is no doctor on site, but there is a nurse who's there part time. The food was good, but there was one option for lunch and dinner. They don't really provide breakfast, they do give you bagels and cereal, but if you can't eat dairy or gluten, you literally will not be able to eat breakfast until you buy your own food or have it delivered. They do not tell you this in advance. The residential level of care is supposed to provide breakfast. On the wknds, there is no chef. They order from Chipotle, Olive Garden, etc., but they order FOR you. If you don't like it, you'll have nothing to eat. The client care technicians, however, are top-notch. Megan, Toni, and Leah should be running the place. They have all the compassion in the world, they appear to be students of life's journey, and they can sit with some serious emotional pain. Leah was a God-send for me multiple nights in a row at 4 am. Megan was amazing and so supportive, she will make an excellent therapist some day. Toni helped me sooo much on an evening of crisis by giving me direct and honest feedback. I would love to hire one of them to support me in my home in PA for a few months if they'd be willing. Be aware that this place does not encourage clients to support each other. No one is really getting the care or support they need from clinical, so they don't have much to give. The clinical directors openly discourage hugs during meetings. Honestly this place goes against every proven method of healing and recovery. If you need to recover from trauma and PTSD, complex grief, or severe anxiety and depression, I highly recommend The Guest House Ocala, Milestones at Onsite, and Sabino Recovery. Those places have staff trained well enough to actually treat your underlying issues, not just the presenting symptoms. The therapists are certified trauma therapists, have done their own work, and have decades (not a few years) of experience. They are private pay but work with insurance, but if you need to save your life, it's worth it. It is not likely The Wave can help anyone who needs more than a bed and medication management.
