I came in with my parents seeking a good Internist to replace the many mediocre ones each of us had. Even after seeing the 5 star reviews of this doctor online and after talking to other friends who referred him, I never imagined he would be so good and so meticulous about everything. He spent a good 30+ minutes with us talking about all aspects of my fathers' (the patient) health. Even without any extensive previous medical records to go on, Dr. Grivej was able to help guide and give us a better understanding of my dad's medical problems. He knew a lot of the doctors my dad had been seeing and was very candid with us about the shortcomings of some of the specialists. He ordered a set of tests and let us know what to expect in following visits. After spending almost 2 weeks in the hospital with my Dad, my parents and I have never felt much more at ease and knowledgeable about the path to take than we have today. Very kind and caring staff, will know you by name after just a few visits. Everyone is ready to work with you and make sure you are comfortable. Dr. Meltser cares about his patients and genuinely wants to help. The more willing you are to get better the easier it will be. I was told my healing time would be 6-12 months and possibly more, but after just 6 months my MRI showed that my injury had healed and my neck was back to normal. Dr. Meltser even had me doing exercises and stretches to correct my scoliosis, something not directly related to my injury. I would recommend this place to anyone who is suffering from an accident or any spine/neck pain.
