I freaking love their patio! Multiple stationary umbrellas which can be rotated and move for when it gets too hot, which even now, October 5th, happens later in the mid morning, as we experienced today. Our server, Bailey, was on point and the food was yummy! Too much pork quesadillas to eat in one sitting so home with me it goes! Bar menu is extensive with craft cocktails and wines. We're looking forward to trying their dinners in the very near future! It's refreshing to have service with a smile and kindness. It goes a long way for us. Well we had a late breakfast with mimosas and service was slow, guessed it was a new server. We sat there for 15+ minutes waiting to place our order, she was walking around and wiping tables that nobody occupied for at least 30 minutes. But finally got to order and received our food. Upon completing the meal a hair was found mixed in with the food. We told the server and heard from no one. My wife reached out and the manager said they would "circle back and talk to the staff"... You know when you brag about how good a restaurant is and you take a friend from out of town & the food was terrible. It ha happened to us all. Went to lunch yesterday. The food was terrible. 2 salads were mushy and wilted. Onion rings and sweet potato fries were burnt. To where they fall apart at 1st bite. They looked burnt do why plate them?? The Rueben sandwich was mushy, tasteless and smashed flat. I checked for butt prints or shoe marks on the sandwich, none apparent. I ate a quarter and couldn't stand the mess. One guest had a sandwich, ate 1/2 and politely requested a box and disposed of it in a can outside. Lunch with my guests was an embarrassment and I apologized after we left. Never again. There are plenty of good dining experiences in the Treasure Valley, not this one. Service was good. It was about 85 degrees inside. read more

Okay, I've given Rembrandt's several opportunities to affect a positive rating and it's impossible. 2 stars because the building is nice and the hostesses are delightful. Service is absolutely horrible. I've always had to flag down my server if I needed, say, ketchup or silverware or water. Never once has anyone checked-in on things. Food is sub-par. Today's plate had fluorescent green plastic particles in the gravy. Waitress took it off the tab, but didn't seem concerned. On other occasions, I've been served cold food, soggy fries, a sandwich missing the top piece of bread on half the sandwich...I could go on but I believe I've made my point. It's a missed opportunity for Eagle. The parking lot is always full, so, clearly, people are enjoying their experience at Rembrandt's. I can't help but to think it's on account of low expectations. read more

Another terrible Eagle restaurant. I don't understand why the wealthiest city in the Treasure Valley tolerates such mediocre fare. Perhaps a captive audience like Crave has? Eggs were dried out, sausage links the same, plus bland; waffle hard and cold, elk + wagyu burger tasted like brine shrimp. The fries were the most edible offering. Worse than The Griddle. Had to wait for seating even though only half the tables were occupied, placed at a high table then watched the remaining tables fill up. Waitress was gracious enough to move us to a real table. After driving by a few times and saving our yelp bookmark we finally stopped here! It was amazing! Everything was delicious and the service was great. We got a white mocha, a gunpowder green tea, Charbroiled Kobe Bacon Burger, Avocado Chicken Burger, and a piece of the key lime pie. THE PIE WAS SO GOOD! We highly recommend this place. I reallllllly want to love this place. I've been a half dozen times and it just misses the mark on some things. One major one being portion size. For what you're spending there needs to be more. Breakfast tacos are barely a taco. The avocado toast has more arugula than it does the main dish. If it went just a little bit further instead of feeling like they're cutting corners this place would be a 10!! read more

Because this restaurant is such an attractive and sometimes busy place in Old Town Eagle, we looked forward to a good meal. Unfortunately, it was not to be. My Prime Rib & Pepper Sandwich was not prime rib but over cooked shaved roast beef with very little flavor. The chicken on my wife's Tuscan salad was unflavored, overcooked and dry. She washed down the few bites she took with water. There was nothing Tuscan about the remainder of her salad. Her glass of wine (recommended by the waitress), however, was excellent. Because the people are friendly and the service and atmosphere are good, we may return for wine and appetizers in the future but we are unlikely to order a meal that requires the skills of a chef. read more

I never post a review but felt like i had to today. Met a friend for breakfast today and would not go back again. Friend wanted an omelet but they no longer make omelets which seemed odd for a breakfast restaurant. He ordered a scramble and it was overcooked and not much to it. I had biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were raw inside. Ordered a side of hash browns to take home. When i got home the hash browns were about a 4" square of hash browns. I tried Rembrandts about 3 years ago shortly after moving to Eagle and was not impressed. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't somewhere that I was thinking that I would come back to. Then in July of 2023, we had a friend come visit us from out of state. My husband had never been here and the vibe here is neat, so I suggested going for brunch. We were able to add our name onto the list online very easily and then headed over when it was close to our estimated table availability time. The inside is gorgeous! It is a remodeled church building. They have some tables in the middle of the dining area that are round with old style velvet roller chairs. They are so comfortable and create a super cute aesthetic. There were 4 of us and we were seated in those seats, so I was happy for sure! The menu was not huge, but has the perfect amount of options that anyone can find something to enjoy. We ordered: breakfast tacos Chicken fried steak and eggs with potatoes Bacon breakfast sandwich Eggs Benedict The potatoes are so delicious! They are perfectly seasoned cubes with the right amount of crisp on the outside and soft potato on the inside. The breakfast Sammie was also great! It is made with square croissant bread. I love breakfast croissants and this one did not disappoint. The eggs were well cooked and fluffy and the bacon was cooked well. My hubby enjoyed his chicken fried steak and eggs. He said that it tasted fresh and hand breaded. His eggs were also cooked perfectly to order. Our friend got the bene and was super happy with it! He ate it so quickly and said that it tasted very good and gave him a farm to table vibe. I have since visited here several times since this summer and have even ordered takeout. I will say that the takeout is not as good as eating there, but it hits the spot for sure! read more

I'm very excited try this meal and something a best latte. I never been that place. The place is like old church. Very clean. Perfect spaces than not be too against crowded. The host and waitress is only favorite people and sure got a right spot. I never been there. Soo I am shameful because my husband have work. I ended up use my vacation money. He won't know it. Lol the price is not too bad. Really can afford it. I ate all these breakfast and hot latte white chocolate. Oh my they are so heavenly taste lot better than Starbucks. I finally got a best latte. Lunch today delicious, i ordered a breakfast burrito smothered in green chili sauce, loaded with bacon. Too much to finish, not enough left to take home, so against my nature to leave treasure on the plate. One friend ordered a blue cheese hamburger that she enjoyed. Another friend had the salmon salad, was fresh, colorful & flavorful, salmon cooked perfectly. Our server was excellent, she listened & delivered . We were pleased that the food was served quickly. The restaurant is housed in an old church. It's comfortable & bright. They have added large high seating to accommodate large parties removed a wall & opened up the space. I like the changes. There is a problem with noise, perhaps some acoustic work could improve that. read more

We came here for a late breakfast. Our food was really good. My husband had a basic Bloody Mary that was simple and good. I enjoyed a delicious strawberry mimosa. The service is slow so just know it's not a quick bite to eat. It was really busy while we were there and it was a bit louder than we prefer. "Good Food; however, the staff does not match the ambiance" Order the pork belly quesadilla. It was seasoned well with a light, crispy exterior. Also a generous serving with value for the money spent. From the hostess station to the wait staff, one gets the feeling they would rather be anyplace else but there. Service felt strained, like they had masks on pretending to welcome you. "Get them in and get them out" seemed to be the theme. I was there on a Saturday morning about 10am. I understand some of the stress, for I used to do their job as a living. For that is the reason my standard tip is 20%. Not on that day though. I am not looking for the red carpet treatment, just do give me the vibe of not being welcomed. I most likely will not return. There are too many other places to choose from. read more

Went there for lunch today with a friend. I ordered their classic eggs Benedict. It was served on a square croissant not an English muffin, which is considered classic instead of Canadian bacon it offered ham, again, not classic I requested avocado in place of the ham. I also asked for the hollandaise on the side which turned out to be a very good idea. The hollandaise sauce was nothing like hollandaise sauce. I know there was some kind of cheese in there for one thing the sauce was orange, hollandaise sauce is not orange. I asked the waiter if there was cheese in the sauce, and he said no. I asked my friend to taste it as she has never had hollandaise sauce before and she said it tasted like that cheese you get from a can. it was not good, nor was it real hollandaise sauce. First time here. Hubby and I both had the black bean soup, so delicious. Also shared hummus, Which was good but portion small. For main course I had fish and chips. The fish was over cooked almost burnt and the fry's were limp. Hubby had loaded Mac and cheese said it was just ok. Our waitress was sweet but she kept forgetting us, ok since weren't in a hurry.
