Unfortunately my son witnessed this atrocious display of adult behavior. Lemonade Day is nationally recognized as a day to "empower today's youth to become tomorrow's entrepreneurs." The group of boys harassed by Jodi and her male companion are 7th and 8th graders who were raising money for the philanthropy of their choice, Texas Children's Hospital. These boys were given permission to sell lemonade at the location they occupied. It is unfortunate that Jodi and her male friend felt it appropriate to call these boys "juvenile delinquents," tell them their "lemonade smelled like piss," and to verbally assault the parent supervising the boys. They should be ashamed of themselves for displaying such inappropriate behavior! Adults should be positive examples for children, not demean them for doing good in their community!!. read more
