While he was purchasing, the cashier who was a young man (clearly presented on his badge was his name, and then male pronouns were present) so either Mr. Giles is totally illiterate or incredibly transphobic because he constantly went out of his way to refer to this young man as "her" even while the kind cashier let his daughter take a sticker or something each time saying "her" he'd say it louder. If this interaction shows you anything it's this company definitely doesn't have any compassion and most definitely doesn't put people first with staff/ownership acting like this.

Seller only let the realtors inspector review the crawl space and attic. Realtors inspector said only needs a new sump pump so that was done. After closing on the house, we contacted Andrew with Giles Inspection to do a whole house inspection. He was so nice. Our son was moving from Indiana to Findlay Ohio and needed to be flexible on the date of inspection because we wanted to be there. He worked with our schedule to make sure we were able to make the appointment. Andrew talked us through the whole inspection, which was incredible. So patient with us. The big issue that he found was MOLD IN THE CRAWL SPACE. WHAT!! The realtors inspector DID NOT tell us about the mold but he was working for the realtor! We came to find out later that the person that worked for the realtor was not an inspector. Andrew is a real Inspector and a GOOD one. Andrew walked us through what needed to be done to remove the mold and even helped us understand how we needed to fix the mold issue. We called Andrew numerous times to ask questions and get even more advice, he never once treated us like we were bothering him. The price of his service was more than reasonable. Not only did he answer all our question and phone calls but he provided us with paper documentation of the work that he did and the lab results of tests that were ran on the mold. Andrew has our highest respect for his vast knowledge. Thank You again.

Jerry is almost comical when stating I wanted to be as cheap as possible. While I can and will…read moreadmit we were trying to come in on budget I don't mind spending the money when the job is done on time and properly. What bothered me a lot was the fact he complained a lot about his help and that Jeff wasn't as good as he thought and that Eric was just learning how to lay roofing. He mentioned how it was taking longer and was starting to "get into his pocket". When it came to the tear off I called him and told him they would leave the dumpster longer but that I was not going to pay the extra. The job was quoted as 3-4 days the dumpster was there a week, you do the math. The tear off got done only because he asked me to have them hold off until the very last pick up of the day and he had his guys focus on the remaining tear off and to not continue shingling. My "friend" he speaks of is Ron Perry from Perry Construction out of Temperance Michigan. Ron wouldn't have had a problem doing the job if he wasn't booked solid.. He did offer to let us use his metal break if Jerry was to do the siding since jerry didn't have one. Which explains why he didn't get the siding job. No break, no walk pics, no ladder jacks to me means no experience and to much time. As far as needing roof repairs....... Our house is 94 years old and you would expect it to need a few repairs if you know your craft.. I will not keep beating a dead horse I have text and receipts to prove what I have to say.. HE WAS PAID IN FULL FOR THE FULL JOB his biggest argument is that I didn't pay him for the shingle roof right after it was done. He never left the job site he came back the next day to start the rubber roof.. I didn't cheat on any money I have the invoice stating paid in full. As far as my son, if he wants to bring personal business into this ask him about his daughter....Go to his facebook and look at my proof there. He blocked me from posting anymore.
