I recently purchased a container of your feta-stuffed green olives and was shocked to find the oil they were packed in was clear and had an unpleasant taste. After some investigation, I discovered that you use sunflower oil for packaging. Why would you choose such a highly inflammatory seed oil? Is it purely because it's cheap? As a company, I had hoped you prioritized sourcing quality, healthy ingredients--even if it means charging a little more. At the very least, products like this should be clearly labeled so consumers know exactly what they're consuming. This experience has been deeply disappointing and has caused me to rethink my trust in your brand. I expected better. read more

I haven't been to this Remark in years. I had moved to London and went the location there and loved it, such a great selection of prepared meals and salads, and especially sushi! It was nice to come back to Windsor and stop in at the original location. It's much smaller than I remember it, but just as busy as I remember it too. I went today to pick up lunch today before I went into work. I walked in the store and since I was so used to going to the location in London, that it's a completely different, smaller layout here, but still offers the same great items I found in London, the only selection that wasn't great was the sushi, I wish there was more of a selection of this item. The produce looked fresh, there is a great selection of meats and cheeses, the salad bar is new to me as the location in London doesn't offer a salad bar to create your own salad. I had opted for a pear & arugula salad which was absolutely delicious; I had also picked up a caesar salad for my brother in law as well as some chocolate chip cookies! Since Remark is a higher end market, the prices are on the higher side, they're local so they don't price match, but they do carry local produce and meat from local farms, so if you're looking for a discount, this won't be your grocery store. This had been our go to place for 10+ years. BUT, in the past year things have turned, have bought meat a few times that smelled, and most recently, bought deli meat that honestly should have been thrown out, and not put out to serve to people. Made my son sick, last straw for us. It's sad to see such a down turn in quality, but I'm done wasting my money and time at this place. read more

Love this place. Over the years it has literally become the only place I will purchase fruit and vegetables. A lot of people in the area kaibosch this place because it is fancy and pricier than the supermarket, but I say "kukka" to that. Yes, apples are 30 cents more a pound, but a Fuji tastes like a Fuji should. Everything here is beyond fresh, and knowing a few of the hireds, I know that they restock everything every morning and ship the rest off to the supermarket. Not only is the selection the best tasting in the city, it is unequivocally the sexiest arrangement of food I have ever seen, other than Foodstuffs in Glencoe, Illinois. That marketing strategy works for me. Walls and walls of the finest olive oils, amazing rice ( Himalayan red today ), balsamic vinegars, pasta, artisan bread, deli meats and cheeses, chocolate, seafood, prepared dishes...yum. Today was fig and camembert day, beautiful pears for poaching...Have to admit, I am a damned good cook so I am a staple here. Trophy wife my ass. They also cater which I well know. My family and I visited Remark for the first time last weekend, to grab groceries before heading to Pelee Island for vacation. The selection, the freshness, the quality.....this is the best produce around; I live in an abundant farmers paradise; Kitchener-Waterloo, and have easy access to the famous St. Jacobs Farmers Market, but Remark's quality far surpassed anything I have purchased in my area. I could've done without the service I received from a very rude cashier the day I went, but maybe they were just having a bad day and who am I to judge? Remark Farms honestly rocks my socks. I've never bought red peppers so firm or lettuce in such great shape! They actually bag their own pre washed lettuce. Seriously you may think that's silly but it's incredible when you can use the last bit of lettuce the day after its exp and still be totally golden. Their personalized ready meals are also something to write home about. Green beans & almond slices - like who has time for stuff like this on their own? Sweet potatoes with dill-wow. Everything in this store is fresh and great except for some of their breads, ie: Banana Nut Bead, very dry and no taste or flavor at all. We have tried others and most are dry with no flavor. This is a negative on an otherwise great store to shop in! read more
