I'll cut to the chase: This place is THE COOLEST store anywhere. It's massive and has "theme" rooms - Harry Potter, Lego, Alice In Wonderland, DInosaurs, Robots, even a medieval castle. The weirdest, most unique items line the shelves... A miniature phrenology statue, a Lepidopterist frame, a 48oz Dragon Skull mug, medieval mask and armour replicas. Plan on spending more then you planned, and far more time than you had budgeted, because there is so much to see. There's Even a cafe that makes surprisingly good coffee. The homemade fudge is to DIE FOR. It's worth heading to Latrobe just to check this place out! read more
This is probably the coolest store I've ever stepped foot into! When you walk in they offer you a sample of their fudge and explain how each section of the place is dedicated to certain things, such as Harry Potter, dolls, Lord of the Rings, Alice in Wonderland, etc. In certain sections, they had a doorway that leads outside, and we discovered some dinosaurs and other cools things! In the back they have a small cafe with some sweets and coffee. We spent a good amount of time just exploring every nook and cranny of this store and they sell almost every random thing you can think of. They have some beautiful Venetian masks as well. This was the favorite place of the bartender in Launceston and I highly, highly recommend you stop by if you're in the area. read more
