My experience with this nail salon is overall good. I find that they will make changes in nail colour for example upon request. I enjoy my visits there. Their prices are the going rate, but for financial reasons, I attend less than I would like. Only a couple of the staff speak English, but they are all very approachable. The nail salon is a break from my life. I enjoy taking the time for myself and also having a break from my responsibilities. I have not had a bad experience with this nail salon. I have been happy with the end results. However, a couple times I have returned for minor repairs. I was not charged for those repairs. I do recommend this nail salon.

She told me over and over that she couldn't get it off; she said she was nervous; and she made a mess of my nails. Once she got most of the shellac off, she began to shape them without asking me my preference. They are all different shapes and much more pointy then I have ever had them. (I always have them not too long and very square tipped.) I did not trust that there was any way this person could do an even half-way decent job of fixing the mess she'd made of my nails so I left. However, upon arrival I was placed in a foot bath and left for close to an hour before my pedicure actually started. I didn't like the method of shellac removal from my toes, though I know many places use the grinder to get it off. I much prefer the acetone with foil method. The pedicure itself was okay, but she didn't file or buff my nails and when taking care of the callouses and dead skin on my heels, she used a cheese grater. I have pretty soft skin on my feet since I get regular pedicures so it really wasn't necessary and was painful. I had to have her stop. I would have preferred the pumice stone or even just the scrub. I did like that since I chose a light colour that she did enough coats to ensure full coverage. When I left I was charged an additional $5 for removal of the shellac I had on. No one told me this at the time and it wasn't on their price list. I wasn't pleased as I have never been charged for that before anywhere. Overall I was there for close to two hours from start to finish. Definitely wasn't a great experience. I don't think I'd return as it really wasn't worth the money.

It's a bit annoying when you bother to book but unless you go to a full service spa, this seems to be the norm. I had a gel polish removal from my toe nails and a Platinum Pedicure.
