Yeah, I really, really didn't like this hotel. On the good side the rooms were clean, the wi-fi was…read morefree (or at least a slower bandwidth wifi, not that I actually needed anything all that much faster), and the front desk staff were generally nice. On the bad side (and this is what really ruined the place for me), when we arrived at 11:00 in the morning it was 'oh, check in is not until 3:00 pm' and there was no negotiation. Actually my who experience with this hotel was that they weren't open to negotiation, but then I suspect that is what most of the multi-nation corporate hotels are like. The thing that got me was that the kitchen staff were incredibly rude, and that was simply because they wouldn't budge on a simply bowl of cornflakes, and seriously, 11 Euros for a bowl of cornflakes is ridiculous. They did end up going to getting some advice and gave the cornflakes to us for free, but the fact that I had to go through this both mornings, and one morning was an argument for about 10 minutes - in German mind you - sort of completely ruined it for me.
