The ladies and gentlemen who work here smiled lots and went out of their way to answer my questions about Heidelberg and the neighboring towns. They also replenished my latte many times as I entertained them with American humor, politics. With the cafe's desirable location on an old cobblestone street, the delectable drinks, sandwiches and sweets lure people walking by to lay down their roots and enjoy the cafe's treasures.
