Upon entering I was informed that I would need to check-in via phone or iPad. I said I would do the iPad. I began to fill in the information request on the iPad. I am not exaggerating, about seventeen screens and about 6 minutes later I had been asked about my medical life story. I was asked about everything you can imagine. When I got to the 'what is your sexual orientation' question and not even finished (how long would this go on?) I said enough is enough and refused to complete the 'check in'. All this for an ingrown toenail! I directed the attendant to delete all the information I had input, and I said, if the doctor will not see me without filling this in then I am leaving. The woman said you must complete the registration. With that I walked out. Totally unnecessary and ridiculous. I was treated like a sheep. Where is respect for privacy? My mother and I both went in for the same procedure having back to back appointments. The assistant…read moregot me settled in, having me take off my shoes and socks, etc to prepare for Dr. Mollica to examine my feet. Before she left the room, she pulled over a little tray that had a drape on it so that I could not see my feet. Dr. Mollica entered the room and immediately pushed the tray away. He then felt the pressure points on my feet and examined my two problem areas. I asked if he was finished with my mother and was told no. He was just waiting for the numbing injections to work before working on her foot. ( We both were getting ingrown toe nails taken care of.)He then proceeded to grab a scalpel and dig out the large, deep callus on the bottom of my foot. Once he finished, he then began clipping the problem nail I have on my other foot. He then grabbed a grinder and began roughly grinding away at it. This was extremely painful and I was expressing that fact but, he just kept on grinding. After that, my appointment was over. Once we got back to my mother's house, I told her how my appointment went, step by step, and asked her if her's went the same way. She told me that he left the tray with the drape in place during her appointment so that she couldn't see what he was doing, numbed her before he did anything, put a bandage on her toe and gave her aftercare instructions when she was finished. I didn't get a bandage OR aftercare instructions. My mother has BC/BS insurance, plus Medicare. I have Medicaid and Medicare. I found out the hard way that it depends on what insurance you have, or don't have, that completely denotes what kind of treatment that you receive from Dr. Mollica. I going to speculate here but, maybe he is trying to discourage people like me to not come back? If that is the case, he'll be glad to know that it worked. I'll never go there again. If I could give him a ZERO rating, I would.

Attempted to get another pair of updated orthotics this year. That doctor is no longer there, and the one that saw me this time around barely spent any time with me at all. On the second appt, he did finally take images of my feet to get the new orthotics ordered. That was over a month ago. Haven't heard a word from them. After 3 phone calls, 1 I actually got to talk to someone but they were too busy to give me a status update, left a vm on the second, and no answer at all on the 3rd try when they were open. I'm giving up, and going elsewhere. The place was in need of refurb a couple of years ago, and now it's even worse. Finally made an appt to go elsewhere. Hope I get what I need there.
