I can't believe I'm going to be the first to post a review on Yelp for Rehab Access on Stumpf. I…read morehave had the BEST rehab experience here, beginning 6 months ago, when I had my first knee replacement surgery. And now I'm back again, to begin another rehab stint after replacement of my second knee. Everyone with whom I have come in contact, from (Amanda) the front desk; to my primary therapist (Dee) and several others; as well as the terrific techs (Clare, Tyrique, Jarod, AJ, Raven, Elise and Kayla.) Everyone is so personable and positive and uplifting. They are kind and attentive with me and everyone else on the therapy floor. The staff members know your name and that's so appreciated. I'm delighted by the care and attention I've received here this year. To say 'it feels like family' is such a cliche, but it does and I mean that in the best possible way! The positive environment has patients talking & cheering for each other as we work our ways back to our best selves here. I had previously been to a different PT place in Belle Chase last year and had a very negative experience, which makes me all that much more appreciative of the help and service here.

Now check in with the reception desk and .........wait what? I was suppose to be here yesterday at the same time. Ugh.....ummmmm . Long story short, the staff was gracious enough to squeeze me in and I was relieved. I did bark at a lady in the reception room that was talking on her phone without her mask. Yeah. Go outside if you're planning on taking your mask off, especially in a hospital. A one legged old man with bad hearing asked me what I was there for? Uh okay. I said a mammogram and he commented he could do that for me, gross......you old perv. Everyone he spoke to me I spoke low so he couldn't hear a thing I was saying....bahahahahaha take that! I was called shortly afterwards and my tech was super nice and probably said...."you okay" about 150 times. I liked that. Well the boobies look good again this year. It's a very serious disease and while the procedure is uncomfortable, the staff here knows how to make you feel comfortable. Get yourself checked, even if to do it for your loved ones. And if you see a creepy old man with one leg.....ignore him. Life is too short to worry about a lonesome old man.
