I keep trying to get the most out of my banking experience with Regions yet they continually prove to me that I am not their target market or desired clientele.
Things are slow. Like always not just on a Friday at closing but today was middle of the afternoon Thursday. Ba da bing.... slow. This was my 3rd trip to a Regions today, 9/1/16, and I chose this bank because it's local to other family members as well as here with me which should make things simpler in terms of handing off task assignments. Well, my sorority sister used to talk about the drinks they always brought her or offered her while banking. Not once have I been offered a coke. Although, I'd take the Root Beer.
Anywhoo, today's adventure provided me the opportunity to wait at the drive thru behind another customer. Once he pulled off I provided my DL, personal check for a withdrawal so I wouldn't have to fill out a form and my debit card to ensure they had two forms of ID while I say at the window to ensure my face was visible to match my DL.
I was put on hold while the clerk busied herself at her computer. NO other customers inside at the teller line. An associate walks over to get her to complete a money issue, they exchange then she finalizes whatever proceeding to return to me. Yep, she thanked me for waiting. But here's the catch: if I can wait that colleague of hers could have waited. And if his business couldn't wait then I should have never been made to wait.
This is coming off two visits to Arsley this morn/afternoon and being ignored while standing in line immediately behind a customer and bringing it to the lead cashier's attention. Like yeah you didn't notice until you walked by but even then you didn't recognize the need to acknowledge me or my wait? So 1+1 = why am I banking here? read more
