A large group of us ordered a variety of sandwiches for takeout to try. I had the Uncle John. It was filled with plenty of meat and a generous slab of cheese. My friend said it was too much cheese for her, so I got a double portion from her. I was a bit worried that there wouldn't be enough vinegar, but my sandwich had a nice balance of flavors and was delicious. The sandwiches aren't cheap, but I was able to split half with a friend and still be adequately full afterwards.

Unfortunately this place was a slight miss for me. It looks better than it tasted. The bread was chewy and hard to eat I had to take the top layer off. The flavor inside wasn't bad. The cannoli's were also just okay. The inside was cute though. I would skip if visiting NY.

I have been craving a good Italian sandwich and thanks to Yelp and other suggested lists from Google, Regina's was highly recommended. It's a place that could be hard to miss, as the sign only says "Regina" and it's a small place. Nonetheless, it's on a busy street filled with tons of other restaurants. There is no AC and they have 2 small tables inside and 1 outside. It actually felt nice to sit outside and people watch. I got the Uncle Jimmy and my friend got the Grandma Lucy. I really liked both sandwiches, but actually preferred the Grandma Lucy because of the tuna. They are also really hard to eat and I can guarantee that food will get stuck in your teeth/mouth. The sandwiches are solid but overpriced for $17.....

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in NYC!! The staff are so friendly and the sandwiches are phenomenal. The Uncle Phil's is my favorite. Love this little spot!

The absolute best sandwich you will ever have. This cute tiny little deli will have you coming back for more that I can promise you. This is my new favorite sandwich in NY do yourself a favor and check it out.

This is another little location not too far from the first one, selling the same excellent sandwiches. Right now you just go up to the window to order and take your stuff to go. They will add breakfast soon too, but for now you can't go wrong with any of their classic sandwiches. Don't sleep on the Cousin Anthony, with thinly sliced smoked chicken, fresh mozz, balsamic, olive oil and arugula.

Uncle Jimmy was excellent! Wound up trying Regina's because they were the only Italian deli in the area open past 4pm. You order at a window/doorway. I went back and forth between ordering Uncle Jimmy and Uncle John. They are very similar. Uncle Jimmy had the chili spread so that gives it a little kick. Maybe next time I'll try Uncle John.

There are more cashiers than I've seen in any other Trader Joe's. Accounting for what they knew would be a high-trafficked store, the aisles are wide. Plenty of merchandise. Clean, well-stocked. Same prices I paid when I shopped at Trader Joe's in Roswell GA though -- and it may be my imagination -- the bag of frozen Gyoza Potstickers (something I always buy) seems to have shrunk. The First Avenue bus is right outside. Convenient! I would avoid rush hour and weekends when the store could get super busy. I don't want to struggle with purchases on a crowded bus. But I'll surely be back, mid-week, mid-day.

This was my first time visiting this Trader Joe's location…read more I'll start with the positives: the line was short and moved quickly, and they did have some of the items I was looking for in stock, which I appreciated since I was short on time. Unfortunately, the experience was heavily overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation with a security guard who followed us around the store. It was very off-putting and honestly diminished the entire visit. If I hadn't been in a rush, I would have left my items right where I stood and walked out. Security should be focused on individuals who are actually stealing, not hovering over someone carrying a tiny bag where nothing could even be hidden. Because of that experience, it's unlikely I'll return to this location. I may consider trying a different Trader Joe's someday, but this visit left a very sour impression.

We have developed a congenial friendship which was founded on La Fermière yogurts. Emre knows that I price shop so invariably I know when the time is right to buy these delicious yogurts at Eden. I often buy Siggi yogurts as here they are $1.99 each. The ladies - Dolores, Affou, Mamata, Savita, Tofu - at the checkout are friendly, kind and remember customers. A few speak French which I practice with them. Being originally Greek, the Dolmas in the prepared food section, are plump and particularly tasty. It's worth buying a few to take home. Adam looks taciturn but always is kind to me. He is behind the deli counter preparing sandwiches and always gives me a quarter pound of the Jambon de Paris. Miguel and Medina are also here. A loyalty card is worth having and once having accumulated many points I paid the princely sum of $1.61 for a pretty bouquet of roses in assorted colors that cost $11.99. Now that's a steal! Eden Gourmet is the sister supermarket to my beloved sadly closed Eden Gourmet of 14th street. This too is packed to the brim with fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, dairy, chicken and meats. A large variety of sparkling waters, frozen entrees, ice creams and assorted temptations are here too. A small bakery has cakes and pastries available. I pop in often to get milk or to see what's new and always to say hello to everyone. I always feel happy coming to Eden Gourmet Marketplace!

He came towards me to open my jacket and try to search me. My other half is disabled and he was buying at the Cold Cut section. I literally was being kidnapped. I tried to ask for owner that I know and told me they were boss and no one around. Sat from 1-2 look at your cameras. Everything is there!!! I've been calling the store and the Lady keeps hanging up the phone. The worker ran to the back and an another employee became hostile towards me. I called her back to preserve the tape from today. She hung up.
