I brought a five month old healthy kitten in for a simple neuter procedure. The vet called two…read morehours later and said he went into cardiac arrest. Did not seem sorry, and then asked what I wanted to do with the body. Who does that? That kitten was loved by my grandkids and family. He adored my dogs, and I couldn't even brush my teeth without him splashing the water. He was NOT replaceable and I never dreamed using this vet would KILL my cat. Please don't go there ever if you want to keep your pets. I am devastated. They charged me $39 for the procedure and then it was $145 to have him cremated. Instead of paying $200 for a neuter, I paid $200 for my cats ashes and I will never see him again.

Chisholm Trail Animal Hospital is probably my favorite animal clinic in the Wichita area. I like…read morethat they have four different doctors, each fantastic in her own right. Typically, if you're unable to see a certain doctor, you can get into another within a reasonable amount of time. I love the amount of options they have for treating your animal. They offer hydrotherapy, laser treatment, physical therapy, and of course medical maintenance and overall health care. The staff has always been a joy to be around. They are very caring towards my animals. The technicians treat my animals as if they were their own. The doctors are upfront but also compassionate about what needs to take place with each animal. They take their time and explain things to me so that I can understand them. The front staff is also very respectful and knowledgeable. They always have a smile on their faces and are willing to help. I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic to anyone.

Rushed him to an emergency clinic (over a thousand dollars later) was told it was an an abscess. Regular house call vet from Valley Center either over booked or didn't want to get dirty couldn't make a home visit (to follow up) and within 2 weeks my dog was blind. Checked on him before work and noticed he stumbled. Upset, called VC vet which "couldn't fit him in". Called Sedgwick and they made time for him. Diagnosis Lymphoma. Doc at Sedwick went above and beyond. Spent a long time explaining options, non judge mental, sat on the floor with me, consoled me. I wanted to take him home because he was stable at that time. Wanted a little more time so I took him home. He had several good days but stopped eating. Took him in today and he peacefully left this earth. A difficult, heartbreaking situation, was made easier by the compassion of the group. Hugged by staff and not made to feel guilty. Sammy is at peace and I will get there. I cannot say enough great things about this place and the people who work there…read more I have decades of experience working in veterinary hospitals and I find Dr Wittenberg to be one of the most compassionate, skilled, knowledgeable and delightfully calm Drs I've ever met! I'm so greatful for her and her staff and all the help they've given my pets and me. Almost all of my pets have gotten old and had I known Dr Beth's recommendations earlier in their lives they would have probably not suffered as much debilitating problems. As it is though I've managed to keep them going and happy for much longer than I normally would have expected. I thought I would have had to say goodbye to my Giant schnauzer 2 years ago due to severe joint problems but she is back up and moving better than I'd seen in years. They have gently helped my little 18 year old Italian greyhound through a couple of injuries with amazing outcomes and minimal suffering. Dr Beth calls him Iron dog. My 16 year old cat has had to start thyroid medication and I was dreading having to give her pills twice a day but Dr Beth offered a wonderful solution where I just have to put a drop of medication on her ear a couple times per day. They're all doing so wonderful under her care and I'm confident they are doing better and have lived longer because of her. I've witnessed amazing recovery in other people's pets as well from her treatments and recommendations. If you're tired of the same type of overcrowded clinics and medicine that resembles all that's wrong with our own model of medicine, I recommend you go to Natural pet care Center. They are a model of what veterinary Healthcare AND human healthcare should be.

In fact, one of my dogs was killed in a car accident a couple years ago. I hadn't seen the doctor in more than a year, but when I took in my new puppy months later, he remembered my dog Tucker, and offered his condolences. That was it for me. I'll be a lifelong customer! We also board our dogs in their kennel, and they take great care of them. My dogs get so excited when we pull into the parking lot. They've always been warm and friendly, they've given us options for medications and treatments, and they've been extremely flexible with us when we've had emergencies come up, or we forgot to make a reservation in advance. This is the first vet office I've ever felt good about, and I'd encourage anybody to try them out!
