And if you are now reading it, deciding whether to stay there, - please, don't do it. Here is why. It was my 3 time studying in London, and I've never had any problems with my accommodation. I was super excited to stay in The Stay Club, as I saw the beautiful pictures of the room on the website and the location was nice. But just to give you an understanding how does it look (expectation vs reality), there at some pictures attached in the post. My room was situated on a ground floor, that is why the only view from my window was concrete and disrupted fence. What is more, there was no separate shower, just water running straight from the ceiling above the washbasin and toilet. The water cannot go out appropriately and the air was terrible. For the whole night I wasn't asleep, because of the loud noises from both outside and inside the building. The air was awful and I just couldn't breathe without my window open all the time. Not to mention the number of insects in the room, which is not surprising due to the humidity and location. One day I was woken up by a spider crawling on my hand. Btw, when I've asked the guy on the reception to change my room, he told me it was the best one. Long story short, I needed find another place to stay for 3 month, which wasn't easy. I needed to pay more (just because it was too late to search for the cheaper options), but I don't regret it at all. Please, think twice if you want to stay in The Stay Club, cause it must be illegal to provide good pictures on the website, while the real accommodation is awful.

Their "portal" is not user friendly in that you have boxes to check and their complaint department is a title with a mailing address in the UK. No email, no way to call on the weekends. And the front desk "kids" are a joke. It is not their fault but their seat warmers and have the ability to say one thing and that is "someone with authority will be back on Monday". That is security? That is health and safety of our children living in one of the largest cities in the world. That is a JOKE and M3 should be ashamed of letting Urbanest C-Suite run such an organization. STAY AWAY FROM URBANEST and likely anything owned by M3.

Above are two wide shelves, where you can put books, kitchenware, whatever you want. You get three drawers at the end of the desk for storage. For anything else, make a trip to Muji. Also has a small closet, and a personal bathroom. My bathroom has had issues where the faucet literally would spray ALL over the bathroom, until I twisted it to the point that it nearly came off, and I had to screw it back on again. It also has ONE tiny shelf right above the sink, which offers 2 faucets: one that is normal for about 10 seconds, then turns SCALDING hot, and the other, which remains semi-cold, but you have to pull back up to turn back off (they're the knobs that you usually push, and then they come back up automatically on their own). Also, had a guy come in 3 days in a row one week because evidently my shower was leaking to the floor below me, and though I waited over 24 hours each time, the water kept leaking through the filling. The rooms are located in sectioned-off areas, with a long hallway that leads to one common kitchen, and about 4-5 individual rooms. If you want to talk to management or a "front desk" person, you have to leave the premises and go around the corner to the other building. The wifi here sucks. It's slow, and within a week of living here, my MAC got hacked. Honestly, Elizabeth Croll next door is a lot nicer. You get a bigger (full-sized) bed, more shelving to put your belongings- either an armoire or a bench with shelves, and your own personal kitchen- or at least a nicer one, depending what floor you live on. You also get a front desk person.

For a mere £19 I grabbed myself and my other half 4 drinks and a plate of tapas totalling to over £100 usually. Booking was mandatory as this event is highly sought after, so we were lucky to get our first choice. Thursday nights are obviously the start of the weekend now a days! My other half, TW, had 2 beers whilst I spoilt myself with a couple of peach and strawberry Bellini's, which were quite lush, but half the size of those you pay for. This is obviously expected but still shocked me slightly. The views certainly made up for it. The tapas wasn't anything to write home about, but was enjoyable enough. We did have to pop to grab some bagels, but we hadn't eaten since lunch time, and have large appetites. The views were obviously incredible, but the venue lacked atmosphere, maybe because it was only half past 6 and the working world hadn't fully churned out yet but if I were you I'd save your pennies for a rainy day of you haven't got a voucher.

Bike storage is located next to the trash area behind the building (you walk in the front lobby, go straight back to the door on the right.) Don't forget your keycard, or you could be locked out! There is usually 1-2 people sitting at the front desk. Woburn Place is located close to 3 tube stations: about 4 minutes from the Russell Square Station, 10 minutes from the Euston Station, and 10 minutes from the Goodge Street Station. Woburn Place is a 6-minute walk to SOAS and the University of London. It's also a 5 minute walk from the Brunswick Centre.

I've lived in these Halls for about seven months now and it's been quite an experience. When I first arrived it was very fun, I got to meet all my flat mates right off the bat who are all quite lovely and a lot of the people around me as well so it started out quite fun. We would have nights out in London, exploring the night life together and just enjoying getting to know another side of the world. The only thing that really is quite the annoyance is the thin walls and the loudness that comes with living with people of all different ages and maturity levels. Sure, it's college/Uni, it's the time to party, rage it up, go out and drink, but when you have class at 9 the next morning and there is a party next door, it's not the best place to be. However, in terms of security they have a great system, a code that enables you to get into the gates and it's an easy walk to the tube or the bus when you need to go to Uni. It comes with a fridge and a microwave, stove, oven, sink and bins, but that's all you get, all the rest you have to supply yourself which is typical for halls. The staff is both really nice and helpful when it comes to moving in and getting around to places. They also have a laundry room with about 6 washers and 6 dryers and it only takes an hour to do both. The internet is consistently good and you get your own room as well which is lovely. The only reason why I give it 3 stars is due to the thinness of walls, the tight nit spaces and that there isn't a common room to hang in besides the kitchen. Other than that though, it's worth the rent and it's a place to live that's close to what you need.

People would sit outside and literally scream, talk, and play music until about 3am, and the bus stop right outside my window meant I could hear it stopping and moving again all night long if my window was open (so my options were sweat to death or be kept awake with noise) -Laundry machines are so expensive and do a horrendous job at washing clothes. It requires a laundry card which they were out of for 3 days when I wanted to do my laundry (and the front desk clarified that yes, that meant it was impossible for me to do laundry) -Brochure on the desk says that towels will be changed every other day, and I'm lucky if I get a new towel once a week. -Bathrooms smell horrendous to the point that walking past it makes me sick. Water pressure in the showers were sometimes so bad that it would take 30 minutes to get washed -No sheets provided on the bed- only one GIANT comforter so it was basically nothing or a blanket for the Arctic which was just strange -The elevator walls were covered in these weird, creepy paper strips that started falling off at one point- was a little bit worrisome!!! -At the break between session 1 and 2, the maids came and threw away everyone's food in the kitchen with NO WARNING as if nobody was staying more than one session. I lost brand new packages of rice and pasta, seasoning, etc. (about 15 pounds of stuff) At least staying here was relatively cheap, but if I ever came back to LSE, I would definitely pay more to stay somewhere else and be able get a little sleep.
