Regal Theater outside
Marc L.

Don't bother coming to this theatre. It is in serious need of a remodel. The outside is crumbling and infested with wasp nests. Theatres 6 and 7 had the air conditioning fail, which happened to be the theatre we would be watching the new Indiana Jones movie. It was uncomfortable to put it mildly, in 98 degree Florida July heat. Avoid it until the ownership actually treats their customers right, and remodels. If they won't, then it should just close down at this point. Also another bad sign - there is a warning posted that no one under 18 can attend a movie after 7:00 pm unless accompanied by an adult for safety reasons. I'm concerned about leaving my car in the parking lot here, let alone taking my children. No way will I ever come here again.

Hadn't been to this theatre since 2019; had a nice experience; went during the early afternoon to beat the crowd; great customer service; though I am now a fan of the reserved seating/gigantic seat movie experience, I still like this theater in that it brings back loads of memories; though it may be a bit outdated as far as the seating, it is always clean and the staff is always nice; plus, I just love the "movie nachos."

Just saw A Star is Born at matinee..really enjoyed it.Very impressed that Bradley Cooper does his own singing and wrote or co-wrote songs for this.Lady Gaga also great of course. Thanks Regal for accepting Moviepass here as well as giving me Regal points.Great Deal!

One of the few R rated movies my child was allowed to sleep through in this theatre.

The IMAX staff was wonderful; very accommodating. It has been quite a number of years since I last visited the IMAX Theater to catch a show. I didn't remember how cramped the seating was :o), though the seats themselves are comfortable. Once seated, best to stay seated until the show is over; otherwise, it will be quite a task to get out, especially if one is seated in the middle of the row and the row is completely filled. All in all though, aside from the tiny inconvenience regarding the lack of space between seat rows, I think everyone pretty much enjoyed the show and the setting. Note, the documentary is on Youtube as well! I also want to give a "shout out" to Mission BBQ for providing a complimentary meal for those attending the documentary. The food was delicious; the meal consisted of: coleslaw, baked beans with brisket, mac and cheese, sausage, pulled pork, brisket, cornbread, buns - along with tea (sweet and non-sweet), lemonade, and water! Thanks so much Mission BBQ!

I've never been to a sold-out event here and, frankly, I often forget this is an option. That said, it's the best screen in the county - and if you're really looking for the larger-than-life experience, this screen yields a beautiful IMAX experience. It's no Warren Theaters IMAX - but then again - there's only one of those (in Wichita, not in NYC!).

They have a wing, just talking about all these scientific discoveries they've made at the university. I believe they share this with FAMU, but don't quote me on that just yet. I'm not 100% sure. Anyway, aside from parking, which was garage parking and had to be paid for, it was a pretty standard movie theater. You know, get tickets, purchase popcorn, the usual stuff. I will say though that they don't play every single movie currently out, but I think it's because this location is small. Nevertheless, it has its charm -- the screen is great and the employees are nice.

Venue was clean, seats were comfortable and the movie looked amazing. My only complaint would be that I wish there would have been a heads up about the Christmas parade happening when we came into town on the Challenger website. Waze/Google Maps both showed the same path to get there but most of the nearby streets were blocked off with no alternative routes so getting to the parking garage was a nightmare. Luckily we were way early and still made it with 30 minutes to spare. Other than that one issue, a great visit. We will be coming in more often now that we are aware they are there.

[Yesterday: 3.13.21]…read more My boyfriend and I walked for hours browsing through murals on the wall, but then we came across this place & decided to check it out ! :) This place was amazing for sure!!! My boyfriend and I were greeted so nicely by the Owner, Kevin. He was delightful to talk to. My boyfriend being the talkative butterfly chatted with him while I browsed around the lounge. It is honestly like a Blockbuster! (Sad days...that Blockbusters are gone) HOWEVER, this Retro rental DVD place is the New Blockbuster in Tally hehe. Rental DVDs from classic to new movies & tv shows ! Before, I took pics about this place. I wanted to ask Kevin for his permission because I was not sure if Kevin would find it to be rude. He told me, "Nah go for it, but make sure to tag my business" So I went at it. I learned a coupe of things from checking his place out: - Renting DVD's varies -Theres a Rental Theater Room in the back of the place, it's like a secret door you got through! *** You can rent the place for 2 hours for $80; bring your dvd and bring whatever treats your heart desires*** [Oh!] The place even has sweets and freshly popped popcorn so you don't have to bring your own sweets & popcorn. Of course can't forget refreshers :) ---Kevin has it all! Overall, I am jelly that Tally has such a cool place to rent DVDs with such a cool Owner. I would definitely come back here to bring my friends to watch a movie!

If you want somewhere to watch marathons of any of these kinds of films for a small fee, or if you want to rent a title that isn't immediately available on Hulu, Netflix, etc. this is an amazing place to go. This is *the* go-to place if you want to see classic John Carpenter or Lloyd Kaufman flicks and sometimes more offbeat and obscure titles back-to-back. There is a bar counter here that is set up like an old-timey soda fountain where you can sit and make small talk with your fellow fans of obscure and cult cinema (of whom at least a few are bound to show up). Live music events for alternative genres like punk and death rock are also sporadically a thing here: sometimes featuring local acts, sometimes featuring small label acts on tour. And if you're a fan of the style of artists like TSOL and The Damned, this is definitely going to be one of your go-to places in town and absolutely will be your scene. Bonus: hopefully this doesn't cross anyone's boundaries, but I gotta say the couple who run this place are extremely cool and attractive, and always wonderful to be around!

All students are granted free entry. Although, I'm no longer a student, I still find myself visiting the SLC when they screen classic films. For non-students, tickets are a mere $3. If you're lucky, you'll pop in on $1 popcorn night! (Tuesday I believe, but don't quote me on that). Housing over 300 seats, you'll be bound to have a good view from all areas of the theater. They screen classics, limited releases and blockbusters. If you've never been to the SLC, it's a venue worth checking out!

The concessions are small with the expected upcharge. There is a soda machine and very salty popcorn, but they do not mind you going in with outside food since profit is not their goal. You can also grab a coffee or an Italian soda at the Grindhouse Cafe that is directly across the SLC. They also have pastries and other things they can warm up for you. My favorite part is that you can come to watch a movie, and while you wait you can play some games on Steam or some League because they have very decent alienware gaming rigs you can use. You can also borrow a board game or a console system. They have Xbox Ones, PS4, PS3, Ps2., PS, Atari, Game Cube, N64, Wii..etc. They have a healthy variety of games and impromptu Smash competitions are not unheard of :p There is a stage where sometimes there is karaoke, game nights, and gaming competition. There is also frequent advance screenings of movies that won't come out in months, and those come with freebies and/or cool presentations by people involved in the films. This theater plays movies that are popular and movies that are not widely available. I've seen some of my favorite independent films here! Any student can suggest the movies, and different organizations can suggest theirs, sop there is an interesting variety. They usually play two movies, about 3 times per day. and 1 movie during the Summer. :d I think its a nice part of the Seminole experience as there is not that much to do in campus.
