So much to share about my first experience here. I did my research and narrowed jewelry stores to two. I went to Reflections in Gold first and never made it to the other store. It's family-owned, it is down to earth and the team there listens to their customers. They have a cool consignment section, very good prices, and a sale section too. I had no intention of buying my earrings and not only did I, I bought two pair! Rita is an expert in her field and in truly listening to her customers. Also have the team doing some repairs. I had my necklace repaired but it broke where repair was made. Went in yesterday, 5/1/19 and was ever so nicely greeted at door by Anthony, although I didn't know exactly who he was. Beth attended to me and I explained what happened, that solitaire diamond on necklace, thankfully didn't loose and would later tell Beth and Anthony in tears that my solitaire was a gift from my husband who passed away. Anthony looked at me. I thought they would "fix" the necklace, although I wouldn't wear it, but to my astonishment, Beth walked over with a new, beautiful chain and said that Anthony wanted me to have it. I had tears in my eyes. Mothers Day will be the anniversary of what would be my husbands birthday. I will be wearing the chain and my diamond. I cannot say Thank you enough! We recently had a ring made at Reflections in Gold from some old diamonds from my mothers estate and after 6 months one on the stones popped out and was lost. We went in to talk with Tony about it hoping to get the ring repaired at a discount. He took one look at it and took it back to the repair person. My husband recently purchased a white gold diamond enhancer with rose gold and diamond accents, which was initially all I wanted but once we were shown how the yellow diamond, low profile ring fit within it, we knew we would be coming back soon - we're coming up on our 10 year anniversary and are planning to renew our vows. I had taken my wedding rings to another jewelry store to get them sized up 1/2 size. When I got them back (3 weeks later), the shanks were so thin that they broke at the cut point in a matter of 2 weeks. I brought them back and gave them the opportunity to fix the problem (another 3 weeks later), but they failed me again so I decided to never go back there. I brought my rings into Reflections in Gold and they were SO friendly and helpful, fixed my rings in 2 days and they are amazingly beautiful and just like new!! Great first impression! Being a St.Petersburg local who relocated to Venice, I had to find a local jeweler / Rolex shop to resize my wedding set and trouble shoot a problem with my watch. I have been loyal to a shop in St.Pete for years, so the switch was scary. My grandparents had been using this jeweler for years before they passed away. I figured if it was a great enough for them it would be perfect for me. I called the day before dropping off my jewelry and spoke to a gentleman who had been there for over 19 years. The phone conversation with Arman was quick but he reassured me that I had found the right place. I just left the location and I am more than impressed with the customer service I received. Armando happened to be the person who helped me today. I have no doubt that they will do a fantastic job with my jewelry. My watch was a easy fix, and they gave me a great deal on the resizing of the rings. I had been quoted much higher elsewhere. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! In December I purchased a Pandora bracelet from RIG and was happy with my purchase. In December I received a birthday present from a good friend. I found I couldn't use it, so I returned it and with the credit and more of my credit card $$, I purchased 2 Pandora charms. Due to "their store policy" I had to put this transaction through on my friends store issued account and not on mine or they would NOT let me return the item!! The middle of January I get a call that their computers crashed and their credit card transactions didn't go through for January. The problem is that they CALLED MY FRIEND and told her I returned her gift!! I'm humiliated!!!!! And all for $34.24!! And I also had to check my online banking to validate the transaction did not do through. I will not shop here ever again! I have sent them their money, but in the form of a check! My husband and I went here to look for a 30th wedding gift for me. While ther they suggested we have my wedding ring repaired with a new setting. hen I got the ring back the stone was set so high that I was scrating myself , husband and ruining cloths with it. I asked them if they could lower the setting like it had been for 30 years. After 3 attemps it was even higher than the first repair. I am taking it to a more skilled jewelry repairman.
