Inappropriate behavior from therapist and director (Jason) post discharge (keeping in contact over phone and paid an all expense vacation in Hawaii for her this past year). Don't forget to ask for that when you're discharged. They encouraged parental estrangement post discharge instead of following her "contract." So she no longer acknowledges me (I am dead to her)...has blocked me from phone and all social media. Wasn't even invited to wedding yet her therapist from Clearview was. I have NEVER been abusive....her idea of "abuse" was raising her in the church. She balks at any therapist who challenges her opinion or ideas.

The positives are that there are some staff who genuinely care about the clients at this school, and the environment itself is safe for the girls. Unfortunately, the owner is manipulative and makes it difficult to bring a child home. His attitude is condescending. There is an emphasis on graduating from the "program" with a very high bar that is difficult for a girl to achieve. A small infraction will postpone her graduation by months, and it's demoralizing for the other students to witness. The expense of this school is astronomical. To avoid getting hit by the door on your way out with a $700/day penalty, give the owner a 30-day notice in writing.
