Hammer Rehab has an on site extensive fitness center which makes it very convenient for me to be able to exercise at my convenience. My husband has also joined the fitness center and has received customized training from Nicole, who is the full time personal trainer at Hammer Rehab. I highly recommend Hammer Rehab to anyone who needs an excellent physical therapist or is looking for a great fitness center.

It was recommended I check out Our House Senior Living - while the demographics are a tad out of the way for where we would like to have dad, I decided to give it a go! I met with Crystal the Resident Director who was quite pleasant, explained the process in a thorough manner and offered a tour. Now my visit was unplanned so viewing the home it appeared clean along with a friendly staff. Crystal has close connections within the elder care community (outside of Our House) and her knowledge on the topic came through in our discussions. While we have not yet made a decision for Dad, I would give this location a visit during your search. Good luck on your quest.

They are quick to answer nurse buzzers. If they don't know the answer, they'll find it. If they were any more upbeat it might be too much. They are real people. While the facility is not a five star it's kept very clean and it's not a bit shabby. While the plant is not perfect the only way to make it substantially better is with new construction and fixtures. This Rehab Center seems To part of much larger retirement complex. If the complex is up to the standards of the Rehab Center it's certainly worth lookin

I was struggling to breathe and in pain and they continued the procedure instead of ending it (including taking a biopsy) Any person in that room should have had the professional decency, do no harm, and speak up that what was happening wasn't right. Contacted the higher ups at the hospital and was told that the dr that I had was no longer practicing medicine there because she had moved. Of course they still charged me for the procedure. I will never go there again.

The meals have been great and my father-in-law especially looks forward to eating in the dining room and having three hot meals a day. It is nice that we can stop by anytime and join them for a meal - and we have done this many times. They are working with physical therapy for strengthening and improved balance. In the month they have lived there, their health has improved thanks to better nutrition, more physical activity, and more socialization. The staff have been kind and helpful and if there is a question or concern, simply reaching out corrects it. The staff have gotten to know my in-laws and understand their needs and how they can help. They have adjusted quicker than we expected to the move, and feel at home in their new apartment. We are thankful to have them living so close to us and know that they are in a safe and healthy environment. We are grateful to the staff at New Perspective!

I am gonna have to hold off on the care part of my review because the jury is out on this one and…read moreonly been recent that we moved a loved one to the assisted living from the independent living arrangement. it really is a long involved convoluted story , way to many details to write about. the move process to assisted living lacks support and any process. the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. the actual move in day was supposed to have a nurse meet with us,but this never happened. we were accused of not arriving on time, even though we did. We had no idea when dinner would be served, or when the meds would be administered. I asked multiple staff members for help and who I should be talking to since our arrival meet and greet never happened. I finally lost it, yes I did, and demanded to speak to "the nurse". I did not yell, but was real firm and stressed out in talking with one of the care coordinators and so was our loved one. Finally the person who was to meet with us earlier in the day comes barreling in the room like she was ready for war. We were accused of yelling, yes yelling at her staff. Not true, yes I was firm, but did not raise my voice. she starting spewing that she had 60 people to care for! Guess our loved one was not in that number. She lied about an email that was sent to us about dinner times, nope nothing like that existed. we asked where she was for the agreed upon range of time for our arrival, said she didn't see an email or have a call. we emailed her at 7:40 am and called when we arrived. only could leave a voice mail. We had to fight to have a TV installed, another story for another time. Lastly the most rude and appalling comment out of this persons mouth was that if we didn't like it we should go back to where we came from. my loved one is not only stressed out because of this encounter he witnessed in his room (she should have had the professional courtesy to suggest that we go to her office to talk) but he is afraid that he won't get the care he needs! BTW we are paying $6500 for this type of treatment. Pathetic to say the least.

I was treated very professionally and all the staff I came in contact with were very competent and friendly. Dr Mohammad, the hospitalist, could not have been more professional or nicer. In my career, I have worked in a wide variety of health care, from level one trauma centers to critical access hospitals. I will return for my health care to this hospital any time.

Was taken back but the staff definitely wanted to head out as a thunderstorm was on its way and they were closing early. So we are already on a get out the door kind of appointment. We start my appointment and the exam room looks like a used car lot but for nerve stimulators. Well can you guess what they want to "sell" every patient...... yep that's right, they are pushing stimulators like they use to push opioids. YIKES! This is exactly why I left the last pain clinic. Well now the Dr and I are talking and they are not prepared for me, they don't have all of my medical history but are working on getting it. (They called me and scheduled this appointment, if they didn't have my info they should have rescheduled) This man didn't have my prior info, didn't do an exam, and wanted to tell me a medical condition I've had for over 10ths I probably don't have (wtf) and that a stim is probably my best option but he can see I have ptsd around them so I should just see behavioral health & PT and it's really all in n my head. I was aghast. My husband doesn't think I should go back but tbh I am here for medical care and I will attempt another appointment or 2 to see if things get better.
