Shadi brought together an unimaginable experience for myself and family. We bought a new diamond and had it set in an existing 40+ year old keepsake. He took the experience to another level by re-shanking, resizing, polishing, and setting the new diamond. I was beyond shocked at how beautifully it came together. Trust me, I have seen how this scenario can go terribly wrong if you are dealing with inexperienced jewelers. I called back after I got home and discovered the scraps were not in my bag I called back and was told that if a special note wasn't made when the repair was done that the jeweler scrapped my gold! This is a business that keeps the "family business" feeling alive but still has all of the benefits of a large corporate jeweler. I have received nothing but excellent customer service at this this store. I make all of my jewelry purchases here. When I purchased my wife's Forevermark pendent for Christmas, the staff was attentive and gave me the appropriate amount of hands on attention without being pushy. When it was time for our anniversary, I went back and had a custom anniversary ring created for her. Shout out to Barry the district manager for fixing a major customer service gaffe by one of their sales staff. We drove all the way from MD to Springfield because the lady I spoke to at Reed's over the phone assured me that they had the ring I was looking for. I had given her the sku number and the number the Ritani rep gave to me. Once we got there she looked for the ring and much to my dismay could not find it, she proceeded to tell me that it must have been a miscommunication, that's when I lost it. The only reason I don't identify her by name is because she is young. I can only hope that she learned from Barry's example, the definition of customer service. Absolutely wonderful! Went in for some engraving to be done on two pieces of Tiffany's jewelry. The Reeds staff were extremely responsive to our "last minute" request for assistance and the two Tiffany's pieces looked great. To compound matters, we needed a date changed on one of the pieces which was expertly, and again expeditiously, handled (we don't plan very well! ) Carlos was wonderfully kind and helpful! This place has very horrible customer service!!! The white lady with short blonde hair i believe she is the manager.. is very horrible. My first horrible experience with her is when reeds sent me a scratch off discount from $10-$100 ! I knew how my scratch off looked like it was already scratched up and bend because of my kids. So in order to know how much u won u had to go in store and some one would help. So i did and she helped me out but the strange part of all this was that it took her almost 10 min in their office to let me know how much i had won. When she came back with my scratch off she said congrats you won $10! lIES!!!! When she came back she brought me a brand new scratch off and i looked at it like was i being played. So i said maybe im wrong but iwas not. I just left. Now my second time i go in to get a gift for my mother i said i have the reeds credit card i need to stay at a budget of $300 and down. She said okay and showed me a few good bracelets! I finally found the perfect one. I gave them my card and apperantly they could not find me in their system. I said thats odd can we call.. she said sure but that cal only lasted like 1 minute and did not ask me for any of my info she came back to me and said sorry your credit limit has been reached sorry about that And basically said leave now with a face she had.. i slowly leave and in my head i know i had not reached my limit. The Next day i call and speak to a representative and they informed me that i still had a $1,000 dollars to go in order to reach my limit -.- At the end of the day this lady was just being lazy to do her WORK! Ridiculous! My fiance received a ring from her father years ago that now needed to be resized. We brought it to Reeds because it is close and a resizing is simple enough. When we gave the ring to them my finance informed them that her father had it engraved on the inside to make sure they did not miss it. The person who would be working on the ring said he saw the engraving. After he was finished, we looked at the ring and were shocked...he had not only resized the ring, but he had completely removed the engraving and did his own engraving...This new engraving was in a completely different font and size. It was about twice the size and was in what looked like free-handed block letters as opposed to the nice cursive before. After they could see we were visually upset he said "the engraving would have worn out eventually through wear.". First of all, this ring and the engraving has great sentimental value for her and it has not worn down even after years of wear. 2) even if that were the case, it is not Reeds' decision to make whether to remove the engraving or not...No one asked them to do that and they did not have the right. We even mentioned the engraving before he started to make sure he didn't miss it. This is the most outrageous thing. Do not do business with this establishment! We recently purchased an item that required engraving. We asked before purchasing, if it could be engraved and were told yes. After almost one month of waiting for it, we found out it could not be engraved and was sitting in their shop. We requested they issue us a refund. Both the store manager and their corporate headquarters assured us they would issue the refund immediately. It has been one week and we still have not gotten the refund for an item that we never even took possession of. Buyer beware! read more

They don't guarantee their work. I has a watch repaired there last year. It stopped working after 9 months. I took it back in and showed the receipt. I was lead to believe the work was warranted yet after they had it for more than a month I was told it would cost $150 to have it repaired. OK..how do I put this in a kind way..there's just no way. This store doesn't deserve to sell the Alex and Ani brand and the people that work here are just rude! I asked the lady if they have the small charms that go on the necklaces. She basically tells me to go through a book of charms to see if I like any. If I like something she can tell me if they have it. I tell her I like a few and she goes..NOPE don't have that one..NOPE don't have that one. So I say...wow you don't have any charms. I try to pull up the Alex and Ani site to show her the charms I am looking for and she walks away..picks up the phone and makes an outbound call? This was in the middle of our conversation about the charms. Two other people come in the store looking for Alex and Ani charms and they go nope nope don't have that. I find it very odd that they would have on display that they sell Alex and Ani but know nothing about the brand, the look and their overall inventory is horrendous and their customer service is even worse! read more

My boyfriend just bought me the center of my universe necklace here (1/3) I wanted a bigger size (1/2) they told me the price was 3600 for the 1/2 but online the 1/2 is 2995 (mind you when my boyfriend came here first he showed the sales lady the price online she instantly matched it for him we thought we had found the perfect jeweler). Girl said there was nothing she can do, I said cool well I will just return this one and order it online then. All of a sudden she could no longer help me without my boyfriend there. (but she was willing to do an exchange because she thought they were going to get more money) This store has terrible customer service and has completely lost a us as a customers, we were going to buy the ring to go with it and some ear rings but we will take our business somewhere with better customer service. read more
