Tasha is AMAZING. She was truly incredible to work with and stuck with us over the course of a year long Covid postponement. She helped us in sooo many ways (from editing a photo my sister took of us for our save the date to making herself available for our second ceremony on Sunday to sending us a few sneak peeks literally 24 hours after our wedding). She's INCREDIBLY responsive and was great at facilitating first looks, wedding party photos, and family photos on our wedding morning. Plus her photography is amazing. She's truly an artist and gave us the most amazing candids along with posed photos. SHE IS THE BEST AND YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BOOK HER FOR YOUR DAY! read more

Love Tasha and Aaron. LOVE THEM! They shot our wedding and they were the most fun people to work with. The entire process was great and we got the photos back in a VERY timely manner. I'm not a wordy person so I'll just say that I cannot recommend them enough. If you're looking for a photographer, you can stop. You've found them. Now pick up your phone and call. You're doing yourself a favor. read more

After I found Tasha's website and looked over her portfolio, I couldn't stop looking. I'm not really sure why we bothered meeting with other photographers because I already knew I wanted her to shoot my wedding. She is one of the most professional, friendly and an overall wonderful person to be around. We connected instantly at our first meeting with Tasha and Aaron; my husband works in the music industry and they had many mutual "band friends". From our initial consultation to our wedding day, we were so happy with our choice from start to finish. I hardly knew she was there throughout our wedding day because she wasn't intrusive or in our face, but clearly she captured hundreds of images that, over a year later, we can't stop looking at and that we'll cherish for years to come. Tasha's work is amazing, and I find new favorite photos in every set she posts. She responded promptly to all of my emails and calls, and even patiently answered all my attorney-father's questions about her contract! I recommend her to anyone and everyone that I possibly can, so you better book her fast! read more

Love Tasha! We haven't used her yet, but booked her as our wedding photographer. Before our initial meeting, Tasha asked where we were having our reception. She looked up our reception venue online, and emailed back to give her thoughts on it. I was immediately impressed. She is warm, professional, and takes gorgeous photographs. She's attentive to detail, but willing to be flexible to accommodate what your tastes and preferences are. Her prices are a steal, in my opinion, and we can't wait to work with her! read more

Tasha was our wedding photographer and we're so happy she was! If I could give her more than five stars I would. Besides the fact that all our photos are AMAZING (seriously, everyone who's seen them has complimented us on how great they are), Tasha is incredibly professional and easy to work with. Planning a wedding is an interesting experience and how well it goes mainly depends on the vendors you choose. I assumed since the wedding industry is a pricey racket, at least all the vendors would be professional, right? Not so! Luckily for us, Tasha was one of the good ones. She always responded to our emails in a timely, personable manner, which I really appreciated it. Her husband Aaron, who acts as her assistant, was also super nice. Compared to a lot of other photographers we researched, Tasha's pricing is a really good value. It includes an engagement session (I didn't think it was necessary, but so glad we had one), all-day photography on the wedding day and a print credit. Our wedding photos were delivered a little late, but we weren't in a hurry & Tasha gave us more $ towards the print credit because of the delay. I could go on & on. Tasha's great, so just hire her already!!! read more

Look no further, the best photographer in Chicago! As brides you know once you get engaged, your on the hunt for your perfect wedding vendors. In my case, the first stop was Redwall Photography. We knew that photography was one of our biggest "wants" in our wedding because photos can show so much emotion in a still shot! Well it was a December evening and it was a few weeks after we got engaged and once we met Tasha that night, we knew that this was the company we were going to go with. Like I said..look no further. She walked us through some examples of her work and talked through all the options - that alone sold us how dedicated she was to her work. Once we booked, everything else was made so easy by Tasha, with constant communication & understanding of what we wanted. Our engagement session was so much fun and she made us feel so comfortable! Her husband Aaron is so awesome too!! They make a great team. Fast forward to our wedding day, logistics were quite difficult for our wedding causing a lot of movement and craziness but Tasha & Aaron were able to manage it quite well and seemed to be everywhere at one time! She captured so many great memories that we will cherish ALWAYS! People constantly contact me to ask who our photographer was and that they LOVED our photos! Makes me feel so good that we knew we made the right choice. Tasha at Redwall Photography is someone that makes you feel like you've known her forever and makes your wedding experience that much better! We will be using Tasha for our other memories we'd like to capture! Thanks again, Tasha read more

Tasha was our photographer for our wedding and I could not give her enough stars on yelp!!!!!!!!! Right when we met her for our first meeting, we realized she would be a perfect vendor for our wedding at Evanston Golf Club because of her confidence & laid back personality, while having some of the best photography I've ever seen! ** Check out her instagram** Leading up to our wedding day, she was so easy to communicate and you could tell she knew exactly what she was talking about - which we loved! On our wedding day, she was PERFECT and so fun! I would seriously cold call for her and have people sign up with her because you WOULD NOT REGRET IT. read more

Tasha was an absolutely amazing asset in my wedding--both as a photographer and a friend. Her professionalism and kindness were so necessary to my wedding day that I couldn't imagine it without her. From the start, she worked with us to determine exactly what we wanted, and she outdid herself to deliver excellent product. She was organized, flexible, and extremely capable. I always felt as if I were in the right hands, and she kept me calm throughout the whole process. And of course, she brought her distinctive style to the photographs themselves, which are both original and classic. We received so many beautiful photos that we couldn't decide which ones to print and display! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would recommend Tasha to anyone! read more

Tasha took both our engagement and wedding photos. We recently received our wedding photos from her, and while I knew based on my experience with our engagement photos, they would be wonderful, our wedding photos turned out to be more beautiful than anything I could have imagined. Tasha allows for you to be yourself and stages when necessary. She has an easy personality that works well with all personality types and is great fun to have with you on your big day. Tasha was prompt in communication with us and was more than willing to assist any requests we had. All of our family and friends can't stop raving about our photos and we continue to tell everyone how amazing Tasha is! Look no further, you've found the best photographer! read more

Tasha is absolutely AMAZING! I cannot recommend her more highly to anyone searching for wedding photographers. Tasha came highly recommended from a friend, and we could not be happier with our experience. We knew in advance that we wanted someone who would capture all the special moments of our wedding day without us feeling like we needed to pose for the camera or plan our entire wedding around the photos. Tasha did exactly that - she captured the joy, the little moments between friends and family, the dancing, the atmosphere of the whole wedding, without us even noticing she was there. Her eye for a good composition, good lighting, coloring etc. is impeccable (this is coming from someone with an art degree too ;). Our engagement photos turned out beautifully as well, and after meeting with her and taking those photos, I felt like she had a perfect sense of what we wanted in our wedding photos. We had to make some late in the game changes to photo locations for our first-look and bridal party photos because of rain, and I felt like I could trust Tasha entirely with recommending alternate locations that we would love. Knowing that we were in good hands took away all of my potential stress when it came to photos. We were able to get some outdoor photos before the rain, and then we moved indoors to take the bride and groom portraits. The photos at both of these locations turned out stunningly, and Tasha did such a beautiful job of capturing the greenery and backdrops of both locations as well as us and the bridal party - you would never have guessed that these were back-up locations. Tasha was also so very organized when it came to setting up the day in advance. We filled out a questionnaire in advance to let her know specific things we wanted her to capture, and we pre-planned the family photo lists, which helped everything run smoothly on the day. Tasha was amazing at responding quickly to emails, and she and her husband (who helped her out with engagement photos and on the wedding day) were so wonderful and made us feel so comfortable in front of her camera. On top of all of this her editing skills are incredible! She herself edits all of the photos (which is super important! I have a friend who unfortunately had an opposite experience with a larger company who hires out editing), and she has amazing attention to detail in the editing process as well. AND the prints we ordered from her are gorgeous!! I could go on and on, but I seriously cannot say enough good things about Tasha! Book her now - you won't regret it! :) read more

After interviewing a number of other photographers I found here on yelp, we chose Tasha to photograph our wedding- and we're so glad we did! She is friendly, flexible, professional and most importantly a fantastic photographer. I agree with Tracy V.; for what you get for your money, Tasha's prices ARE A STEAL. We wanted our wedding to look and feel urban and masculine with a touch of sophistication and Tasha maintained that vibe in her photos. Our pictures look amazing; she captured every moment perfectly and with the stealth of a camera-wielding ninja. If you're looking for someone to shoot your big day, definitely give her a call! read more

Tasha was one of THE BEST decisions we made early on in our wedding planning process. A good friend told me to initially disregard the wedding plan "to do" timeline and first focus on the stuff that really means a lot to you. For my husband and I those were the memories, venue and music. So we set out to find a photographer who wouldn't make us feel awkward and staged but would still catch all of the classic moments we would cherish. Throughout the search we did NOT come across another photographer who was as professional, kind, courteous, hilarious and humble as Tasha. Before we even signed the contract she invited us to her office where we all chatted and visited. It felt a little like a first date. But like all good relationships she listened extremely well, gave us knowledgeable feedback via fun conversation and opened up her heart (aka photo portfolio) to us to peruse to get an idea of her past work. Just looking at her work alone should seal the deal for anyone. However, the fact that she is a complete joy to be around makes it an even sweeter deal. Over the course of the rest of the planning process Tasha answered my random wedding questions, reviewed my timelines to be sure we weren't cutting things too tight among many other things. She was as much a planning sounding board as she was our photographer. I couldn't have gotten through putting everything together without her industry insight and generous help. Needless to say our engagement photos were unbelievable. Tasha climbed into swampland, jumped over fences and scaled tree trunks to get shots that are striking. She helped us relax and get comfortable being ourselves in front of the camera so when our wedding day came around we were relaxed and ready to smile and joke around with her and Aaron and have a good time. Cause it's your wedding, right? You're supposed to have some fun! And man was it fun! Tasha works incredibly hard; she's creative and truly has an eye for this. My friends and family have all since asked for her information to engage her for family photos, baby photos, weddings, everything. I look forward to working with her again in the future because she's officially spoiled us from working with anyone else to document our lives together. read more

Tasha was our wedding photographer this summer and we couldn't recommend her more highly! When you get married in July (see also: smack dab of wedding seasons), it can be hard to get a hold of vendors. While Tasha was busy like many of the others, she always got back to us quickly and put so much thought into our day. Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out even more beautifully than we could have ever imagined! Her and her sidekick/husband/lighting expert Aaron are fun, professional, and make a great team. Pick them, you won't regret it! read more

I can't say how much I like Tasha and her work! Booked her for my wedding. Our engagement pictures were fantastic, cant wait for the wedding. She answers emails right away, her customer service is great and her photo quality is also great. By far my favorite vendor for my wedding. Not sure if my other post went through but whatever she deserves all the star ratings! read more

Tasha was just amazing. I've never been so impressed with the amazing service she provides. She is quick in her response and turn around time to you. She is genuinely caring and friendly. Her and her husband made it so comfortable to take engagement photos , something my fiancé was not very comfortable doing. She made my fiancé feel so comfortable and natural that when we got home he said he had fun taking them. The quality of her photos are just amazing. She has such an artistic eye and so in tune to every detail it was very much appreciated. Would recommend to any of my friends read more

We found Tasha and Aaron through referrals from other photographers, and we were absolutely THRILLED to have Redwall document the memories from our wedding. Photography was the most important vendor at our wedding, and Tasha and Aaron were professional and super supportive on our big day. In making our decision, we sorted through almost over 100 photographers in the Chicagoland area - ones that would capture the emotions and reactions that would help us re-live that day. I still remember the day that my husband and I sorted through her portfolio and looked at each other and said "yes! let's contact her!!!". (For future brides - one of the stand out qualities about Tasha's work is its consistency -- not just how photos look when there is a model-esque hsuband and bride -- we really did our homework to make sure every wedding we saw was captured beautifully!) We got married in early August and throughout the day, rain drizzled and I found myself worried about our outdoor ceremony. Tasha was there with me and my entire family as we were getting ready and did her best to appease my anxiety. Throughout the ceremony and reception, I almost forgot that Tasha and Aaron were there to take photographs - they just felt like a natural part of our celebration. One of the moments I remember most is at the end of the night (I know, they are SO committed) when Tasha came up running to me to tell me that she had forgotten to take some snapshots of the ring, and was adamant about getting even this very last detail before they called it a day. Even though "details" are important to me, it was Tasha's eagerness and her commitment to capture every last little detail of my day that really stuck with me. Not only that, but she loves tea, so I think we're pretty much bonded for life. We haven't received our photos yet, but we can't wait to relive some of the best moments of our day. Redwall was just awesome -- as the reviews here suggest, you NEED to contact them for your wedding/engagement! read more

In search of a photographer, I went on line and really liked the fun and creative website of Red Wall Photography. My initial opinion of Tasha was that she was attentive and wanted to work with me and my fiance on our engagement session. The day arrived and the weather was less than perfect and so was Tasha's attitude. She wasn't focused and almost seemed to be sulking. Unfortunately, our engagement photos reflected Tasha's mood. They are such an incredible disappointment. The website of Red Wall Photography is misleading. The quality and creativity of the photos in Tasha's wedding blog in no way reflects what my fiance and I received in our shoot and photos. I am sorry to say that I would never recommend RWP; there are too many amazing photographers who are professional from beginning to end. My fiancee and I made a huge mistake and I hope this review helps others from doing the same. read more

Tasha and Aaron are simply amazing. They went above and beyond all of our expectations during the engagement shoot and even more so on the wedding day. They are great people, very engaging and extremely talented. Hiring Redwall was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. 5 stars, without a shadow of a doubt. Save yourself the hassle and uncertainty, call Tasha now. read more

Tasha shot our wedding and engagement shoot and did such an amazing job! She knew the exact shots we wanted, but also was creative and got some great, unique shots all around Chicago and in Evanston (where our ceremony was). She and Aaron work together very well and are so fun to be around. read more

My husband and I were only engaged for 7 1/2 months and because of this short time frame we had to make decisions pretty quickly. Redwall was one of the first vendors we hired and it was such a relief to know that we could be confident that such a big part of our day was in good hands. Tasha and her husband are wonderful to work with and a lot of fun. They made us feel very comfortable during our engagement photos and this prepared us a lot for the big day. Tasha helped a lot with things like the schedule for the day and communicating with other vendors. She definitely knows what she is doing. Tasha also answered all of my questions promptly through email and was always available to talk if I had to call her with questions or concerns. I strongly recommend Redwall Photo. read more

Tasha is amazing, I honestly can't say enough good things! Redwall came highly recommended by my wedding venue (The Armour House in Lake Forest) and after looking at numerous photography websites and meeting with a handful of different photographers I knew that Tasha & her husband Aaron were absolutely the best choice. The high quality of her work is certainly evident across her portfolio and her pricing is very reasonable as well. Without a doubt, Tasha was the MOST responsive vendor I partnered with during the planning process. During wedding planning I was shocked to learn how non-responsive/slow some vendors are (I work in corporate America, so responding to emails is something I expect)...but not Tasha. She ALWAYS responded quickly and provided helpful & detailed advice. She successfully incorporated my feedback and personal preferences from our engagement session into the style of our wedding photos. She also ensured she captured all of my requested shots for the wedding. Finally (as you likely know) you will spend ALL DAY with your photographer, so it's critical to find someone you and your fiance are truly comfortable with. Tasha and Aaron are a great team, they kept us calm & smiling all day :) read more

Tasha did both our engagement session and wedding photos. We haven't gotten our complete wedding photos back yet but we did get our engagement photos and a sneak peek of our wedding photos. Both were lovely and we have gotten a lot of compliments on them. Tasha is professional, accommodating and creative. She gets those classic shots that everyone would want but also strives to think outside the box and add in some more artistic one of a kind shots with reflections or unique lighting. I think this is a really special touch that sets her apart from other wedding photographers. She also worked hard to accommodate all of the requests my husband and I had but was honest about managing time throughout the wedding day which we respected. Overall, I would definitely recommend Redwall Photo!! read more

I truly cannot speak highly enough of Tasha & the amazing work that she does! She is extremely professional, responsive, and most of all, talented. We couldn't be happier with the final photos and she really went the extra mile with edits to make sure we would have photos that we would cherish forever. She provided helpful insight about the timeline of our wedding in terms of making sure we had enough time to capture all of our most important moments. And I especially appreciated the way that she (and her husband!) provided direction on our wedding day, not only for my husband & I, but also for our family members & bridal party. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tasha & Redwall! read more
