Living in the Hudson Valley in New York state, I hate that this area doesnt have many gearheads, or car guys/gals. So when I just bought a car from Reds to be shipped here, the coolness of the car is almost second to working with the awesome team at Reds. Nate was a great day-to-day sales associate, who brought knowledge and worked to alleviate any concerns I had. He also gave me advice on how to sell my Subaru in New York. They understood why I wanted the car I wanted. And thankfully my gearhead college bud in Denver test drove the car for me, and told me these guys just feel legitimate. I even referred a colleague in Phoenix to Reds as she's looking for a 4Runner and they had several. Nate, Justin, and Mike are just great. I brought my car in for mechanical work, trusting them was the biggest auto-related mistake I've ever made. They caused exponentially more damage than the requested repair cost. When I picked the vehicle up, I immediately knew there was a serious problem. The owner Mike is a joke, he was going to let me just drive away with the damage. When I pointed out the obvious issues, he threw a little tantrum, got in my face, and acted like a child. Then he ran inside like a little b*tch and came out with my check, saying he didn't want my money (I have texts from him admitting to and apologizing for his ridiculous behavior). I later discovered additional extensive body damage that they caused (it was under the car where they jacked my corvette up without jack pucks) for which they would neither accept or deny responsibility, just kept trying to get me to go to their friend who owns a body repair shop with a bad reputation. I ended walking away from these clowns (not worth my time or emotional energy), but if you're smart, you'll just stay away. Far away. Thieves, liars, and crooks. read more

I have been buying used cars for along time. Recently we came across Red's Automotive. I have not always bought vehicles from big dealerships and when I have I never had good luck when it comes down to following through, communication, and knowledge of vehicles. We saw a 2011 Cadillac CTS on line and decided to give this dealership a try. After meeting Stan, who was very helpful and knowledgeable of the car and answered every question we had. Went in to look at a 2014 raptor that I have been really interested in. Was perfect color and interior package. Showed up about 10 minutes before store opened, a sails rep still greeted me witch was cool because they weren't open as of yet and showed me the truck. We went over the car fax and seen that there was some significant repairs done to the vehicle in the past. Witch was fine with me because the body was put together very well. Went out to look at the truck and the sales rep didn't know much about it at all other then it had a supercharger. I explained that I was a motivated buyer and would not be financing and instead paying cash. Asked if we could take it for a test drive so I can make my mind up. And he said that "we don't let people test drive the cars/trucks that have performance parts on them" and I would have to be "extremely interested" to do so. Witch I thought was funny because after all I did tell him I was motivated to buy and have been searching for a low mile one like this one. Also I pulled on the lot in my new 2022 Ford F-250 platinum having a value of 95k. So I found another one and bought it that afternoon from someone else with more aftermarket performance and better looking for less. I will not be returning to this dealer. read more

Stan was incredibly helpful in our search. He really went above and beyond in helping us. He didn't come along on the test drive, so we felt welcome to really poke around and talk freely and drive it. He wasn't in a hurry, didn't pressure us whatsoever, excused himself from the room so we could chat, and even put the vehicle up on a lift for further inspection.
