I was able to try on certain wigs I was interested in and was given tips on how I can switch up the look of the wig. I'm the sister of the other reviewer from Chicago who said she treated her sister to hair & make-up for her bachelorette & loved this team as much as she did. The girls from Making Up Las Vegas came to our hotel room to do mine & my sister's hair & make-up & the make-up of some of the other girls in the bachelorette party. They did the most amazing job & I have never felt so beautiful when they were done. They may have even outdid my wedding hair & make-up. Lisa did my make-up, and I have sensitive/ combination skin that is really hard to deal with, and she took the time to understand my skin & picked make-up that worked so well with it that I went out and purchased it and have been using it ever since. I also bought the same lipstick she used on me for my wedding day. I forgot the name of the girl that did my hair, but she did equally great job & the curls she put in my hair lasted all night and still looked great in the morning. Lastly, on top of being great at what they do...they were nice & fun to hang out with for the afternoon while we got ready for a fun night out! On both occasions her friends are stopping in to hang out with her while she does your hair. Do you want someone doing your hair and turning around talking to people about the weekend and constantly talking on their phone? She is not concentrating on your hair . First occasion she put a toner on my hair that turned it green and she tried to convince me it was blonde. And it no longer matched the blonde extensions. When I got home my neighbor pointed out my green hair. Jen really tries to convince u that her mistakes have to do with your hair. Next ocassion I go in and she takes out my extensions. Extensions go on your head in the order you took an out. I remind her that you have to put any and all extensions back in on the rows you took them out or the hair will look uneven. Makes sense if you're experienced. The hair from the very top of your head to your shoulders is longer then the hair from the back of ur neck to your shoulders. I told her several times match up the lengths before you put them back in.She literally kept me blowing me off and turning around to talk to several little kids screaming that are hers and a friends , her husband's friend came in drunk and her friend came in to hang out while putting my extension in talking about Mexican holidays and blah blah blah. And she literally said to me "all the extensions the same length. " Are you kidding? Why are you doing hair?? Your hair at the top of ur head to ur shoulders is longer then that at the bottom of your head to your shoulders so the extensions , since they were cut like that last time are short and long in different areas . So don't put the extensions in wrong. Then when she's done she sees that my hair is a dozen different lengths because she didn't match up the extensions and she kept saying its my extensions and she's never seen this happen before. Then she starts cutting my long extensions short to match the areas that she stuck in the shorter pieces. Just chopping my money on the floor .you buy an item to make your hair longer and then someone starts cutting it all short to blend in their mistake...... I said Jen....I told u several times before you put them in what to do( I've been getting extensions TEN years and have gone to other girls....they all put them back in, on the rows they took them out so you don't have a short hair next to a long hair and so forth. She admitted she made a mistake and admitted that I kept telling her but she also says she's never seen that before. So as a hairstylist Jen, you haven't seen any hair to know that the hair from the top of ur head to ur shoulders is longer then the length of your hair from the bottom of your neck to your shoulders. And now my hair looks horrid. And she says come back in. She didn't charge me. You go in on your day off, do you want to go back again on your next day off and sit in a chair for 3 hours. No. She ruined my hair. She was told how to put them back in. She visited with friends , she wasn't paying attention, 3 kids are in her studio screaming, a drunk guy , she used really smelly stale towels on my hair probably hasn't washed them, the toilet in her studio has a fecal ring around the bowl, a urine drop on the seat from someone, even when she washed my hair at the sink, the towel on the neck part was old and wet. I said do you wanna put another towel down? She didn't. She isn't sanitary. She messed up and was even told prior to putting them in. She tells me curl it to make it blend and to come back next week. Never again. Jen is probably good at pictures but her studio which isn't a real salon ( and she doesn't tell you this) is very filthy, she doesn't focus on your hair and she answers her phone every 4 minutes, has kids playing like its a day care, friends visiting , so JEN, how on earth can you get someone's cut or color right when you're doing all these other things, answering your phone, texting and turning around to talk to friends dropping in. Then tell your customer who you royally screwed come back once again on their day off so you can fix it later cuz you don't got time. I said we need to fix this now. It was 100 percent her error and she was told she was doing it wrong and continued. She's so bad at her job she didn't notice for an entire hour that the extensions she was putting side bye side were some short pieces and some long pieces. She just going and socializing and telling the kids stop screaming and play over there. This woman is bad business. I had a hard time deciding to write this because she's a sweet person but I go to you for hair and sit there 4 hours and you send me out of there looking like someone cut my hair with a weed wacker then you are bad business.
