Disgraceful service from this company, pre booked a taxi one week in advance to pick my wife and I up from Edinburgh. No taxi arrived and when I called the office they said, sorry we have no cars in the area, you should try another company. Wife and I stranded at midnight in a cold dark Edinburgh night. The worst taxi company I have ever used have been using this taxi company now for around six years and I have come up with numerous issues with regards to this service. The booking staff on the other end of the telephone, are very rude each time I call and will often put the phone down and end the call abruptly when you are requesting a service. Even when I am at Asda with a trolley full of shopping. Taxis are always late. They are very unreasonable with regards to being on time and when it comes to collecting my daughter to take her to school to, and from school, they have caused a lot of nonsense. I requested to pay via card prior to the journey, and for some reason some of the taxi drivers are too lazy to get out of the car to come and collect payment. Also, one of the taxi drivers were 30 minutes late collecting my daughter from school last Friday. I waited by my front door for the driver to come and collect a payment, and he just drove off and when I went to complain about this, I was told by the guy on the other end of the phone that it's not their problem and they don't really care about the school pickups in the area because that's not a priority. I offered to send over a payment via transfer but the driver very kindly said there was no need. As for the 'customer service' booking staff... I will never ever use this taxi service again, because the manager abruptly contacted me this afternoon and accused me of being rude to her colleague whom was indeed very rude and insulting to me and told me that they were no longer going to collect my daughter to and from school and told me it was my problem. You are an awful company, and you have absolutely the worst Customer Service service skills if any at all. You have no empathy for people with mental health issues, and you don't care about the children in the area. You only care about how much money you make from each fare. You are a disgrace of a company, and I will make this well-known to as many locals as possible. I am absolutely disgusted and really upset by your service. I am a single parent I don't have any family to support me and I Can't drive, so I use public transport on a daily basis to go anywhere. The people that work for you are completely vile and evil and should have the sack for the way that they have spoken to me. I have a sharp tongue, and they deserved every bit of it in response to how they spoke to me. It's no wonder Motherwell has so many issues with a taxi firm like yours. read more

My family have used this company since I was a child. My mum trusted them enough to permenantly hire them to come and pick me up from the School gates at half past 3 everyday and get me home safely, which says a lot for them. They know us pretty well so we always get a cab quickly, and the drivers are all really nice, friendly and chatty. I get one to work in the mornings when I start at 7am, which is often daunting in the dark mornings of Winter, but the drivers always wait to make sure I am in the shop safely before driving off! I have left shoes, bags, mobiles and make-up in the back of Redline Cabs and have always got them back! They probably know it's me by now. One of the drivers even carried me into my house once on a...ahem...slightly drunken night out when I decided to use his back seat as my bed for the night. Less said about that, the better. I would never ring anyone else, and I even ring them to pick me up from a night out in town. Fantastic company. read more

I would never recommend this taxi service to my worst enemy! Booked a taxi from the civic centre, which is a 2 minute walk, 3 hours before we actually needed it to make sure it would be on time. It was a Saturday so I made sure I'd stated the time and I knew there might be delays. Half an hour later I had a girl answer the phone and repeatedly say that they "couldn't guarantee a time" even though I said that I'd booked it at 9:15pm, for 12:15am, but they said they could not have guaranteed the booking from when we originally booked it. Then why give us the booking in the first place? My friends and I called up 5 times, with myself calling 3 times, and they just said they were busy and they'd have a taxi waiting for us. We had a woman who had recently given birth, and a man who was ill to the point where he couldn't walk far, and I stated that to them many times, but still nothing changed. At 1:25am my friend called and said we'd been waiting over an hour in the cold night of October, and they said they'd be there in 2 minutes. When they didn't turn up, we decided to make the short walk to the office where they said they were busy and didn't give us any reason as to why we never got our taxi. We waited at the office for 20 minutes, whilst a load of early 20-year-olds managed to get taxis that they never even booked, before we even got one! It wasn't until we got in to the taxi, over 1 and a half hours after our booking, that the taxi driver said he'd been given our booking under the same name twice, and it had been cancelled twice until we got to the office! There was no explanation as to why, but finally we got home! They're lucky they got the whole fare paid! Such a good night out ruined by such a stupid taxi company. Will NEVER use them again, even if they're the last taxi rank on earth! read more
