This bank is terrible…read more The only person who is decent is Tiffany. I came to this bank several times to handle an estate, some investment accounts, and some trust accounts. I had several issues over and over with them. Things that should have taken one visit, took 2-3 to accomplish. Their knowledge on their own accounts is minimal. They ended moving one of the main members and bringing in another person, because of the incompetence. He had potential, but in the end, the paperwork was wrong again. I don't live locally... I live overseas part of the year. Because of their incompetence, they told me that I had to buy an additional plane ticket and come back to do more paperwork. Of course I was unable to drop everything and pay $1000 to run back over and fill out paperwork that was the banks error. So instead, they just closed the trust accounts and sent a check. I love how everyone just apologizes, but none of them are laying my plane ticket to return to open new accounts. I would never deal with Chase again. When I closed both my account and safe deposit box, I returned the only key I was ever issued. At the time, everything appeared fully resolved with both the tellers and the manager. The following day, I received a message asking me to return to pick up my refund check for the box. However, upon returning after a very long workday and a graduation event, I was unexpectedly told that I owed $100 for a "second key" that I never received. This was upsetting, confusing, and handled in a way that felt dismissive and accusatory rather than professional or customer-focused because: * I was a loyal customer for years. * I returned the only key I was given. * The closure initially appeared resolved positively. * Then the later interaction left me feeling disrespected, wrongly accused and dismissed. I understand that banks have policies, but customers should not be held financially responsible for items they were never given, especially after an account closure was seemingly finalized without issue.
