The girl that took my order was delightful, but when I was finished ordering, I was standing next to the register waiting for my smoothie when a worker named Samet came and asked if I needed anything. I responded with "No, I'm good she's helping me, thank you though!" and he rolled his eyes at me and said "alright." Then I noticed when he was putting some toppings on a frozen yogurt he was making for himself, some chocolate chips or oreo crumbs or something fell to the side of the counter and he put them right back in with the others to serve to the customers, that's disgusting and unsanitary. My friend and I both said no banana. they proceeded to give me banana in my acai mix and put bananas on her toppings. I confronted them and they denied it but we watched them. also my third friend said she has nut allergy and they put almond milk in the acai mix anyway. we went monday 9:45pm. the two girls with the braids served us. read more

It was a cute place to pick up frozen yogurt. I give it four stars not because I disliked the product or the service. I'm just not that into frozen yogurt; I'm more of an ice-cream person. They have lots of yummy toppings. However, don't go overboard. They price it by the weight. Would I go there again? Definitely. But I'm not in love. I love froyo because it's a tasty yet lighter, healthier compromise to ice cream. However, I find that Red Mango just doesn't deliver. It's possibly the worst froyo I've had. Overrated, or maybe my taste buds are f'cked up. Whatever the case, I think I'd pass on Red Mango for even Pinkberry. Just to note, Red Mango is a self-serve froyo joint. For those who like experimenting and serving up their own froyo, this is a fine option. I'm personally not that keen on the whole self-serve experience here though. What's nice is that you can take as little as you want; I get it. However, I've noticed that the small sized cup is more like a medium. And, while I like the idea that I can serve myself as much as I want, it still doesn't mean you're not going to pay for every extra ounce. The cost of your froyo is dependent on weight, which is a good and bad thing. You never really know how much it is per ounce and how much your froyo weighs until it hits the scale, especially after you get trigger happy. Perhaps my biggest problem with the self-serve is the lack of advisory on the flavors. There is no way of knowing which flavors complement each other best, or what toppings work with what. In the end, you're going to have to eat that froyo and hopefully enjoy the masterpiece you've created. Customers, especially new ones, are more oblivious than not, and then you realize Peach doesn't work so well with Red Velvet. Okay, maybe that's not a great example, but what sounds like a viable froyo mixture could end up being a recipe for disaster. I went with Strawberry and Chocolate the first time, but it tasted awful together. They were in fact sour and had a lot of tart. Strawberry didn't taste so much like strawberry, and chocolate tasted nothing like chocolate. Perhaps suggestions on how to best pair the flavors could help and facilitate the whole process. At the moment, I would just stick to one flavor and add toppings because I'm not sure how well two or three different flavors would work anyway, especially when they all melt together (and the melt speed is pretty fast). All in all, I've heard more positive than negative opinions on Red Mango, but I am slightly disappointed. The froyo wasn't all too good, and I'm not sure I understand the whole point of self-serve stations if there is no true variance between the sizes of the cups. Their staff is not too helpful either if you're left feeling clueless with regards to what flavors to choose from. This particular downtown location is quite busy, and there are a limited number of seats. On a busy day, it can get a bit chaotic if trying to get to a certain flavor station. read more

All chains are supposed to be created equal and Red Mango is no different. I've been here a bunch of times because I work in the area and I also went to school in the area. It's a standard self-serve frozen yogurt place. I like the different flavors featured here, I have one close to my house in NJ that doesn't get some of the same flavors, so it's a nice change of pace to come here and see what's new. it's fun to experiment with the different flavors and toppings but don't go crazy because it can get pricey. The smoothies are also very tasty, I like getting their chocolate, banana and peanut butter one. The service is good and the space is usually pretty clean. I am going to be their faithful fan forever. First of all, they DELIVER! they are open until 11 PM EVERY DAY and on SUNDAY they are open until 10! Secondly, and really most importantly, their yogurt is perfect. Such excellent flavors and delicious fresh toppings. I got a combo of pomegranate, dark chocolate and irish cream, and my husband - white peach, pomegranate and raspberry cheesecake. My son and his friend both got the original flavors. We all got fresh various berries as toppings. The size is super generous! Raspberries and blueberries were fresh, and tasted the way they should have been! What Really won me over, however, is that I originally called them, and while i was placing the order, the guy on the phone who wasn't entirely pleasant btw, suggested I went and placed the order through seamlessweb.com instead. I was surprised considering that any business would probably prefer to get the order first hand from the customer, and not referring them to a third party who is going to take half of the profit away! Of course, this wasn't a manager or an owner, and he didn't simply care. Worse, he took the order, and when I called after 30 minutes expecting them to tell me the delivery guy is almost at my door, I was told that the order wasn't even made yet! That they got a different delivery in China Town, and they went there FIRST. WHAT?! I was seriously pissed off considering I live about 3 blocks away. So guess what. About 15 minutes after I spoke to the nasty phone answering person, a door bell rang, and there it was... The guy that delivered the yogurt introduced himself as the owner.. he clearly RAN to us, because he was wiping off his forehead. Everything was packaged Perfectly, and he included EXTRA toppings for us as his apology, and also apologized for the guy on the phone. Dude! that guy on the phone is ruining your business! I first experienced the taste of popping boba here and it was pretty amazing. I wouldn't say it's different from other smoothie or healthy cafes though. It's clean and the quality is good. I only get to go when I'm up north though, there's not a location in Georgia as far as I know. read more

This is the first red mango in the financial district and I fear that I will spend too much money here. This location is self serve. They charge by weight: 49¢/oz. Every additional pump of the froyo machine will cost you some extra cash, as will each topping you pile on. Since I visited during only their first full day if operation, things were a little hectic. The store was giving out free samples so a bunch of freeloaders were slowing down the queue. Not cool. But overall I'm happy with this first visit. Their selection was great and should appeal to a variety of palettes. I really like red mango. I've had the smoothies more than the ice-cream. Both equally good. I like the whole self serve idea. I always get scared to use the machines though. I like RM, but this location needs a lot of work. I went two days in a row and on the first day they had like 3 little chunks of kiwi left. On the second day, they were out of red velvet yogurt and kiwi's completely. The other thing is the staff is really...strange. Red Mango is delicious. It's probably the best frozen yogurt that I've had and beats any other competitor out there. If you visit a lot it's worth joining their rewards program. After a certain amount of points you get a $5 reward. I've never had their smoothies or parfaits, but I've hard they're pretty good. Love Red Mango- not this store. Limited flavors, small, often no air in the summer. If you would like to sample a flavor it takes FOREVER. I popped into this Red Mango location seeking a smoothie since my regular juice spot was closed for the holiday. I was sad to see they don't offer any veggie + fruit smoothies, so I went with one of their juices, I think it was the Kale Immunity (something like that)? The service was fast, juice freshly made in front of me, and the whole store was neat, clean, and the topics were super tidy and very delicious looking :) Overall the juice was pretty good! It was about $7, which is reasonable considering most juice prices, and worked in a pinch. I'm glad to know this location is here and I'm sure I'll stop by again for a work-break snack :D read more

I've been coming here pretty at least once a week, this location is probably one of the better ones in the area. The girls running the cash register are pretty friendly actually, not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. Kiara in particular was pretty efficient about making my smoothie and also dealing with a bunch of other customers on line. If you want red mango, go to this one.
