Breakfast is delicious and made to order. The bar is rustic-looking but awesome. Specials everyday. You have a garden where you can just hang out and enjoy your drink under the nice weather. Everything was comfortable and clean. My only gripe was the thermostat: no matter what I did, it seemed to reset to 21C, which I find a bit chilly in summer. Staff was friendly and efficient. The location is a bit odd, midway between the train station and airport, but it's similar to other hotels in the area. There's no dedicated shuttle to the airport, you can either walk or take a quick ride on public transit.

The Courtyard made that stress go away, and reminded me that people can be caring and giving. They went beyond to make sure I was treated exceptionally and understood my situation. The three women at the bar/resteraunt were amazing. Their names were Katie (Very very nice), Lenka, and Dancas. Katie and Dancas were very supportive and Lenka let me borrow her charger. The front staff was also very helpful and were willing to answer any questions and answer the best they could. The hotel rooms are really modern, clean, and have a luxury feel. Absolutely fantastic hotel! Would recommend to anyone.

The rooms are small, but then the only reason to stay at this place, is if you have an early morning flight out of Luton - I did, and I'm very glad I've listened to my friends, and left London the night before - I've never flown out of Luton, always doing Gatwick, Stansted or Heathrow, and so I've never appreciated the amount of time it takes to get to Luton! Will repeat, if flying out of Luton again.

Exit the station from platform one and you'll be in reception in just a couple of minutes. This hotel is a standard Hilton By Hampton build and does what is says on the tin. It's clean, comfortable and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. As with all HBH hotels, you get free wifi and a buffet breakfast (standard fare, but serves its purpose). Rooms are standard in design and come complete with multichannel flat screen tv, radio alarm clock, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, walk-in shower and there's a workable desk with plug sockets in the right place. The hotel serves meals from 11:00 till 22:00, but there's a 24/7 menu too (pizzas etc). It's not elaborate, but more than serves its purpose. For those unfamiliar with the area, there are no eating establishments within sensible walking distance from the hotel (other than disgraceful prices at the airport), so unless you have a car, the onsite restaurant will serve you well. There are car parking facilities at the hotel, which costs £6 a night. The hotel has a bar which is open 24/7. If you are relying on public transport, aside from the train station next door, there's the bus to the airport as well as in to Luton town and the surrounding area. The hotel is located just a few minutes from the M1 motorway as well as several main "A" roads. The Hampton By Hilton Luton is ideal for an overnight stay, pre or post departure from the airport, or if you are area. You may need to watch the room rates as sometimes they can be a little on the high side (supply and demand, I realise). I paid £63.20 for the night and thought I'd got myself a good deal.
