Dogs are allowed in an all provided they don't jump up onto seats. Bogs are a wee bit grim, and the gents in the lounge have a right stiff door that could do with some oil on hinges. There's also a well kept beer garden which makes a proper great spot for a cold pint on an hot day. No complaints here; definitely my go-to pub in Tickhill.

When we come from the States and meet up with friends there and always have a great time. The bar staff is really nice, the place has a great layout. You have two areas inside to choose from and a large patio outside. Yes, the patio is in the car park essentially, but they have made a definite break between the car park and the patio with nice landscaping and even in ground lighting. The best night? Monday! Quiz night is a TON of fun here. Even though I know very few of the answers (I blame being American), I still have a great time. I've promised to do the quiz/be the quizmaster. The WiFi is the fastest around, and we're always looking for somewhere to use our American smartphones for free. The only thing I would definitely skip is the food.
