The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately they don't now how to make coffee. I had to toss my latte it was so bad. It was just brown colored hot milk. Plus, they charge $1.00 EXTRA for Decaf!!!! What? Is this a coffee shop? Plus they charge $.30 FOR Whipped Cream topping. And you get 1/4-1/2 inch of it. Starbucks gives you like 4 inches of whip cream for FREE. Cute decor with frogs everywhere, but they never learned how to make COFFEE. Totally avoid and save yourself $5.00. I hate to say Starbucks Lattes are better, but they're 100% better and they're not that great. read more

I wish I could give red frog 100 stars. Every time I walk into this place, I feel better. It's not only a beautiful environment to be in while drinking the most delicious coffee I've ever drank ... The staff are wonderful. I walk into a place full of friends each time. This time in particular, made me so grateful for the whole experience. I haven't been in for about 2 months and when I came in this morning, spencer remembered my order AND that I don't want a straw. It makes me so sad to see the plastic straws ending up in the bellies of whales and the noses of turtles! So the fact that he remembered so important to me absolutely made my day from the start. So I stopped at Red Frog for a coffee and quick snack at lunch yesterday. It turns out that they serve sandwiches so I ordered an Uptown Grilled Cheese and a coffee. The coffee was excellent the service was friendly but incompetent.The place had literally six people eating, including myself, and two people came in for coffee while I was there. The friendly but absentminded staff of two workers apparently either completely forgot that they were making a grilled cheese or it's normal to have to ask after 10-15 minutes while one goes to clean the bathroom and one is sweeping the floor,"Hey, what about that grilled cheese?" "Oh!" Was all I got for a reply, after which I was handed a grilled cheese that had been in the panini press an extra ten minutes so close to burnt except it seemed to have dehydrated instead. It was all I could do not to just chuck it at them after a jaw breaking bite. But I was starving so I muscled it down and wrote this crap. Coffee was excellent though, lest we forget. read more

The best coffee shop in Longmont! Such a great selection of quality foods and drinks. I love the spicy chai and the Popeyes Love green smoothie. All their smoothies are made with fresh ingredients. My Husband and I come here every single morning on our way into work. He gets a Vanilla Latte and I a Polar Bear which is pretty much a White Mocha with Raspberry. Both of which are simply wonderful. I love the staff here just as much as the coffee. Emily (the owner) is such a sweet person. She also knows how to make a mean cup of coffee. Everything about this place is pleasant. I love the art on the walls and how every month a new string of work from local artists and photographers, this is pretty cool. It is a pretty laid back and welcoming atmosphere. Plus pretty much everything there is eco friendly and considerate of the planet and humanity. From the organic food and drink to the used coffee ground they offer to send home with you for compost. Even the little woven baskets they sell too hello out the ones in need in Africa. ooh!! Also, they offer a cozy changing table and free baby wipes in the ladies room, I thought this was pretty neat. All in all this is definitely a place worth visiting. I know my family has a blast whenever we are there. read more

YUM! I've loved everything I've gotten here. I love that they let you do any drink hot, "blended", or iced. I got a blended red velvet latte that was amazing. I've also gotten Italian sodas that were delicious, smoothies, and plain ol coffee that hit the spot. The staff is always super friendly. The atmosphere is really cozy and is a great place to come get work done or hang with friends (they have various board games and things!). Outside they have sidewalk chalk for kids and even tiny chairs for kids to sit in. They also have a bowl of water for doggies. Ample outdoor seating is available. One of my favorite weekend activities is riding my bike down the Lobo Trail/Left Hand Greenway Trail with Red Frog as my destination. The Left Hand Greenway Trail runs right behind the Harvest Junction shopping center so it's perfect for riding to Red Frog! read more

Being a coffee aficionado I must say this place is amazing. First things first, they have something called dirty ice. What is this said invention? It's ice made from coffee, so while your ice cubes melt, you don't get a watered down taste. You get full flavored deliciousness the entire time. Next, they are reasonable in price. They have a friendly staff, they are all about the environment, and they have tasty coffee. If you have never been here, why haven't you? There is not much else to do in Longmont, you should enjoy something you will love. read more

As a freelance writer, I often like to work at coffee shops, so I've been visiting a lot of the ones around Longmont. Red Frog was the first, and my favorite. As I'm sitting here and they're playing one of my favorite songs...well I decided it was time for a review. Everything about this place works. It's informal and creative with an artistic flare. Lots of cool local art on the walls, quirky decor and it's not too empty or too busy (either in terms of decor or people). Did I mention they play good music? There is serious style to their choices and I enjoy pretty much everything they put on. Though it's in a pretty big shopping center, there's a real community feel and friendliness. I had problems with the internet the first time I was here, but it was never unusable. To me, Red Frog strikes the best balance of ambiance, good coffee and good work atmosphere of any coffee shop around. read more

This is my first time at Red Frog and it's been a great experience. I ordered a non-fat latte. I already enjoy Conscious Coffee from Boulder, which is their current roaster. My drink was well-made and the service has been great - friendly, courteous, prompt, and laid back. Later, I ordered a lavender lemonade - so delicious. Refreshing, a little sweet, with floral notes. Great for a hot day. There's ample seating at tables and couches with some outdoor tables as well. The vibe is laid back and unpretentious, with some homey comforts. The shop is clean and wifi works great. 10/10 I will be back to try the food (which looks great). read more

Being my own boss and working from home, I am always looking for a quiet place to use as my office away from home. Thankfully I happened on Red Frog Coffee and immediately felt like I had found my spot! Friendly smiling employees, quiet, relaxing background music, delicious latte's and gluten free baked goods moved this to the top of my favorite hang outs list. I feel like its more a spa then a coffee shop because I always leave feeling rejuvenated and peaceful. On nice days, they have ample patio seating where you can still get Wi-Fi while basking in the fresh air. Unlike downtown locations, there's plenty of parking being conveniently located in a plaza.
