In need of seven yards of fabric to re-upholster a chair, I found myself at Artee Fabrics & Home on the recommendation of the man doing the work. On entering, my mom and I were warmly greeted by Jasmine, who showed us around the store, explaining the layout and how to find what we were seeking. Please note: the store is laid out by colors, not weights or types of fabric, so it helps to know your color scheme if you want to save time. After spending a good 20-30 minutes perusing the aisles, and seeing many beautiful options, I narrowed my selections to half a dozen. Then Nancy stepped in to assist, snipping swatches while I went back and forth before deciding on a suitable fabric. After making my final decision, I opted to purchase 3/4 yard to take home to make sure the colors worked in the room. (Worst case, I had enough for a pillow or a barstool.) Well finally, we decided to have breakfast at old Bridge Diner next door to Cox with the anticipation of finally being able to shop there before or after our breakfast! When we arrived to the very over crowded parking lot my daughter-in law decided it would probably be good idea to shop while on the 45 minute or so wait ahead of us. We found a spot near the Cox store and parked only to be greeted by a man with his arms crossed, telling us we could not park there if we were eating at old bridge!!!
