real is a hypermarket with over 300 shops all over Germany. The one in Ratingen is conveniently located near the A52 and is a popular place for groceries and daily needs in this neighborhood. Integrated in the complex is a bakery, pharmacy, ATM, dry cleaner, fast food stands etc. It has been here for at least 20 years without renovation. This would be badly needed! The shop is huge with wide aisles. They have a huge selection of basic groceries with no premium products. They also sell ladies, men's, children and baby wear, electronics, kitchen products as well as household products.
