Truly a beautiful place. If you want to live in old digs you will like it but do know this. The air conditioning they claim to have is worthless. As is most of it in all of Europe. I stay usually in US owned hotels only because they are the only ones that actually "get" air conditioning. We stayed two nights here in June and they were the hottest nights I have ever had in a hotel. We both sweat all night. Got zero sleep. The air conditioners they have are pitiful and a total waste. If you like sleeping in a sauna make your reservations here! If you like sleeping cool pass it up. The lowest the AC is allows to go here is 20.5 or about 70 degrees. But ours never made it past 22.5. EVER. No matter what. You might as well camp out. I would never stay here again read more
