I hired ready. set. Dance DJ services last year for my wedding we had in September. When we first met Ben was nice, I told him exactly what I was looking for and he promised me he could deliver it. At the time he seemed prompt, organized and reliable. I even referred a friend to him during the process. A month before the weeding he became very hard to get a hold of. It took him days to reply. My friends fired him and decided to go with someone else (something I wish I would have done.
The day of our wedding Bed was on time, however he was NOT ready! I showed up and our officiant tells me our D.J did not have our songs ready. I took a deep breath and I was nice to Ben and just choose different a songs. I provided him with a list of the songs I wanted for the ceremony and for our reception a month in advance. I gave him enough time to download the songs so he could come prepared! At the time of our ceremony, before I walked down the aisle he had "equipment malfunction" he was on panic mode, to be honest I felt horrible for the guy. He was very embarrassed, I asked our venue vendors to help him as I waited for him to start the song. They assured me it was his equipment and they couldn't help.
During our Ceremony he did not present our wedding party with the songs I requested! He was asking me last minute what songs I wanted! This was very unprofessional and not something a bride wants to deal with last minute! When we asked him to make announcements he was VERY quiet nobody could hear him. He did not have/ or PLAY any of the songs my guest had requested (again I provided him with a list in advance) He was not enthusiastic, energetic and was not good at getting people to dance!! Also During the speeches none of the microphones worked! He said he had low batteries. Why didn't he have extras? Why wasn't he prepared?
