DO NOT recommend. Horrible communication, dishonest, extremely slow, and over priced!!! I took my show quality 1970 Chevelle SS to Ready Motorsports to have the gears in my rear-end changed. He assured me it was an easy job and he would keep my car inside the shop while he looked at the car and ordered the parts. He ended up finding a few other things on the car that he said needed some attention and I trusted him and told him to go ahead and get me a price and start working on the car. Charles kept my car for 2 months without working on it and was horrible with communication, I have a whole list of texts and calls where I tried reaching out to him and he ignored them. I was very polite and patient with Charles and tried my best to just sit back and trust that he was doing the best he could as he kept giving me excuses every time I could get ahold of him blaming everyone but himself for him holding my car and not working on it. I am not a impatient person but I just paid 50k for the car and you can imagine you would be very concerned giving this kind of money over to someone who is treating you this way so I contacted him and told him I wanted to pick the car since he wasn't working on it and he told me if I gave him the rest of the week he would get right on fixing the car. I went to pick up the car and he told me he worked on the starter, the thermostat, fender wells, wiring harness, and brakes. He charged me $800 and as he pulls the car out of the garage it was covered in mud, I get in it and I go to stop at the next light and the brakes are extremely hard and barley stop, I look down and notice he gave it back to me with an empty tank so I go to the gas station and the guy next to me at the pump notifies me my car is pouring antifreeze, I try limping it home and the first curve I take the rear tires start rubbing and cut my tires, then I get it home and park it to wash it and when I am finished I go to start it up and the starter knocks out of the block! I had taken the car on many hour long trips before taking it to ready motor sports and none of these problems existed in this severity. In conclusion it's been over a month and the car is broke down in my shop and I he refuses to give me back my money. read more
