He told me not to worry and we would keep an eye on it. A few years later he told me that we needed to go see an Oral Surgeon and have it removed. We met an Oral Surgeon and he said it was not a tooth but he would do a 3D X-ray. After the X-ray he saw it was a tooth and it needed to be removed. He praised the Dentist, saying it was a good catch and he removed it with no further problem I will take my kids there as long as I can.

I love their little play area in the waiting room and so does my son. They always explain what they are doing which helps ease nerves. I set up my kids to go to this practice and was told I would have an appointment for both of my kids on April 12th at 10a. When I arrived at the practice, they told me my appointment was not until the 26th. That is not at all what I was told, and I kept my daughter home from school to be able to go to this appointment. Had I known the correct date, I would've still had my daughter go to school. It would've been nice to have that communication in some way of an appointment slip or email confirmation. Thought this would be the place, but I'll take my kiddos somewhere else. If you don't want your appointment to be changed on you, I suggest you find somewhere else to take your kiddos.

There is a dental office next door. Check them out before coming here. I made the greatest mistake of having them do some extensive work. Both times it was a disaster. Now, I'm in the process of paying more money to get it fixed. If you have options, I encourage you to look into those options before stepping foot into this establishment. UPDATE: please read their response. I had given this establishment the opportunity to correct their error with an extensive procedure of fixing my front tooth bite. During the procedure he shaved my tooth to fit the bite. However, I now have a gap in my bite and air pockets. I had contacted them a week after the procedure in July 2025. It took a month to get a reply. I then took it upon myself to check with another provider on what I see and his thoughts. The provider stated the work completed was far less than par. In order to fix this, it will cost me $8K out of pocket because Genesis has exhausted my dental benefits and will not reimburse me or fix this issue. This is the second time I had this exact issue with them. I trusted them to not make the same mistakes. I used loyalty and blinded my instincts. I should have listened to my intuition considering Dr.Foltz's has never made me feel comfortable or accepted during my annual checkups. I assumed it was me. However, with the statements below, my instincts were correct. Dr. Foltz doesn't genuinely care about his patients. If he did, he would have at least made an effort. Instead he excused my genuine concerns and told me to never come back. Please note that that my daughters and I have been a patients of Genesis dental for many years. If Dr.Foltz felt that he was inexperienced or uncomfortable with these types of procedures, then the proper steps would be for him to refer to another dentist. I double down on this location, do not come here. They will treat you just the same. Their dental technicians are fresh out of dental school and there are going to be mistakes that they are unwilling to correct. Also, DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING until after you see the work. Genesis dental advised me to sign a form stating I was satisfied with the work in an email PRIOR to my appointment and another form while waiting in the office. Don't waste your time or money coming into this dentist office, 3 wisdom teeth…read morepulled plus was suppose to get 3 WHITE fillings but only gotten 2 of them also got charged for the one they didn't do cost $30 each so payed $90 for the one he never did and mind you I'm 5 months pregnant so I only got numbing done while being awake and dr Aaron Straw was super rude he was yelling at me to do things now I've been trying to call their office and they don't even want me to come in too see that I only have 2 fillings so I can get my money back. Plus the 2 teeth he filled I already had silver filling in them so he had to take those out which now with my 2 white fillings feel like their literally scratch paper and slowly chipping off this is so horrible I really wish they would understand that I came to fix my teeth not make them worse and waste money that never needed to be wasted. They have state of the art technology and use text for apts and reminders which I really like. They also have orthodontist already in their offices so very smooth transition if your children need them.
