Meet the Business Owner: Dennis S.

My real estate career began in the early 1980's when a mentor encouraged me to obtain a real estate license. My daughter Sara was just born, and I was looking for a more successful career to support my family. Due to the perseverance, determination, and work ethic my father instilled in me, I averaged 50 transactions per year for seven years, quickly becoming the sales leader for a local company. I succeeded in carving out my niche in the Real Estate Industry by 1990, at which point I was hired to manage an office for a large, regional company. Ultimately, I went on to assume a management position overseeing multiple offices within the region. This leadership position led me to realize that I enjoyed guiding and helping real estate agents, preventing them from making some of the early mistakes I made. Since I thrived on assisting agents to grow their business, RE/MAX was a perfect fit. I opened the first RE/MAX Crossroads franchise in 1993.
