Terrible!! I wish I could give zero stars. I've had nothing but problems from RC WILLEY while spending almost $30k on new furniture and house items. I'm now sitting on hold and have been for 20 minutes because "everyone is in a meeting and can't take my call". They told me my delivery was today and after waiting all day, they are now telling me it's tomorrow. I'm not in town tomorrow, which is why I scheduled it two weeks out for today. I used to love RC WILLEY and theyve really gone downhill. I wish someone would tell me a good replacement furniture store. I'm done shopping here and will tell everyone I know the same thing. read more

Go to La-Z boy. The people are so much nicer there. Walked in a guy came up,was irritated when we were asking about certain recliners. That they don't have. Then when we said we would walk around. Then he said have fun, in a very rude tone and walked away so fast. Then we were looking upstairs at the washers and dryers. Talking about what we are looking for. And they were all sitting around on their phones ignoring us. And talking to the older people. Overall very rude people. Don't waste your time. read more

Do not buy from these guys. Spent several thousand dollars buying enough furniture to furnish an entire town home and at least 4 of the major items did not arrive as promised. Had to take multiple days off work for the extra deliveries and wait several weeks for back ordered pieces. The buying process at the store is smooth and easy but don't be fooled. I came in to find a laptop. I was greeted by a gentleman that was not part of the electronics department. He very quickly got me an associate that could assist me. Sung in electronics at Delta Shores was awesome! He was patient in explaining the differences in laptops and answering all my questions. He didn't rush or try to up-sale me. I was impressed by his knowledge and customer service. He's a very genuine and kind individual. He is confident in what he knows and isn't afraid to research the answer if he is unsure. I do not like this store. One reason is its still run like an old honky used car sales lot. I wanted to buy something in the clearance section. It took over 20 minutes to buy it. First I was told I needed to give all my information in order to buy it (address, phone number full name etc). I said "no" I would just like to buy it and head out. Apparently, that is very, very tricky. After figuring something out I was then taken (with my 'order slip') to the order center. Where someone else manually types in stuff and then asked if I had an account and would set one up. Again, I declined I really just wanted my 19.99 item and to leave. Way outdated computer systems-I will continue to avoid this store. If it takes that long to process a decor item I will not be taking the time to order a custom couch read more

Me and my husband recently purchased a couch. It was our first time purchasing anything from RCWilley. The couch was one of those sectionals where you pick the pieces you want. We showed the sales rep the pieces we wanted and asked the pricing. We wanted a chaise and a love seat. The couch had two different chaises to choose from, a 65 inch or an 85 inch. We were told the larger one was about 100$ more, so due to our budget we chose the smaller one. Our couch came and it was a lot smaller than we expected. The love seat wasn't the same size as the piece we had shown the sales rep we wanted. The chaise was the size we had selected but looked smaller in our home than we would like. We contacted our sales rep to see if there was any way we could swap out some pieces. She never responded so we went into the store again (an hour away from home). We asked what the price difference was again to just swap out for the larger chaise when we were told that both of the chaises were the same price, which wasn't what we were told by our sales rep. Obviously anyone would pick the bigger one if the price was the same as the smaller one. They told us we needed to contact our sales rep. We finally did to which she said we could swap out our pieces but we would lose the 20% down we paid so we would have to pay about 200$ to swap it out. We went into the store again to talk in person and she said she'd talk to her manager and try to work something out. She texted us 3 days later to say there was nothing she could do about the 20% and we agreed to pay it since it was a special order. I called the store manager to which he said let me talk to your sales rep. I told him I had been talking to her and she said she talked to the manager and said there was nothing she could do he said he would talk to her and call me later. I am very frustrated at this point because we were bought the couch under the intentions that our sales rep disclosed all the prices and options correctly. I am upset that the love seat wasn't the size I had shown her we wanted while selecting. We also would have gotten the larger chaise in the first place if we had known it was the same price as the smaller one. I do not feel like it is honest of the company to require us to pay another 20% down in order to swap out the chaise when we weren't given the correct information to begin with. We bought the couch with the intention as well that RCWilley would follow their customer satisfaction guarantee: "Every RC Willey professional works tirelessly to ensure you are completely satisfied with your experience and purchases at RC Willey. And if not, we'll do everything in our power to make it right--that's the RC Willey Way and our Customer Satisfaction Guarantee." Definitely didn't see that. read more

I was disappointed by their inflexibility when it came to delivery. I tried to move the appointment to a time that wasn't in the middle of my work day and was basically told no because it would cause too much of an issue on their end. Adam - they gave me a 3 hour window so I took this afternoon off and nobody called or showed up. The store is really nice but we left after 10 minutes of being hounded by salespeople. The ratio of salespeople to customers was way too high. We were approached 3 times by 3 different salespeople in 10 minutes within 100 square feet. Felt really uncomfortable. read more

NEVER buy from these stores. The furniture is not well made and customer service is not helpful. I have bought several items in the past and was disappointed every time. Because of the prices, I kept trying again. I know, not smart to keep making the same mistake. Each time something would break, couch pieces, kitchen chairs, I would attempt to purchase another chair or piece of a sectional only to find that it was discontinued- after 2 month of initial purchases. Most recently, I bought a buffet table. I thought, it's more of a decorative piece and won't have much actual use so I shouldn't have any issues. The Draper location was out so after my requesting several times for them to call and check if another store has the piece, the sales rep finally relented and said that he would. He was able to contact someone at the Orem location who was kind enough to look and find the piece. Of course, the Draper sales rep was more concerned with getting his cut of the commission than anything else and stated that if they did have the piece, they would need to share the commission with him. He brought it up 3 times in the conversation with the sales rep on the other end of the phone! So I drove from Draper to Orem to purchase the piece. Fast forward to delivery day. Product was brought into my house with multiple scrapes and scratches. When the delivery guys set it down, little wood chips were falling out of the bottom. I pointed out to them that the piece was not in the same condition as when I bought it and that I would like for them to take it back and refund my money. Oh, and the delivery guy checked out the wood chip issue and said that he could tell that a leg had been glued on which was a further sign of damage (his words). I opened a drawer and pieces fell off. However, they REFUSED TO TAKE IT BACK and said that it was a final sale and I had to take it as is. This was the first that I had heard of it being a final sale and I wasn't keeping a torn up piece of furniture. They said to take it up with my sales rep and left. I called customer service twice, the first time being right after they left. I explained the situation and asked them to send the drivers back to pick up the piece. They couldn't get ahold of the drivers. (I don't believe that they tried.) They told me that Tuesday was the earliest that they could pick it up. This was on Friday. I told them that the drivers had to be less than 5 miles away and I couldn't take another day off work for this when they should have never left it in the first place. NEVER EVER buy from RC Willey again. read more

This location is new and nice and I've purchased a few appliances from them without issues. However yesterday we go in with my my mother in law and the first sales person was super pushy and following me all over. Then we looked at a few other things even the super nice display kitchen which smelt like pizza. We were looking at the oven when what do you know - a slice of pizza. Thinking this was fake nope it was real and to add to this when we opened the fridge to see how the shelving was bam!! 2 boxes of Little Caesars pizza along with a half empty drink and a few other things. I was a little worried when my son said "look mom!" I turned around to see him asking why the cleaning bottles were tossed under the sink and if he could "clean up the place" yep chemicals on the floor no child safety. One of the drawers for the kitchen had a real chef knife just sitting in there and a lot of other random items. There were so many things not right and when we talked to a sales person asking about delivery fees and haul away (fridge) he didn't bother to stand up from his seat where him and a group of other sales people were watching TV. Just turned around looked at us and said he could work on the delivery fee and when we told him what another store offered for the same product he said "yeah can't do that" turned himself around and ignored us. This all being said - I question returning and that's sad because the whole family shops or did shop there. read more

If you want some nice, real, classy furniture then go to RC Willey. I don't ever mess with that IKEA style crap. There are lots of sales people so if you need help its available, but they aren't overly aggressive. Also you can pay to much here for certain things, but can get some great deals as well. If you want nice stuff in your home that's going to last then RC Willey is they place to go. read more

I visited the Draper RC Willey on September 12th around 1:00 p.m. I was there for two reasons; I need a customized sized piece of carpet or area rug and a mattress for a guest room. My first stop was at the carpet department, the receptionist was slouching in her chair at her desk, didn't acknowledge me until I asked her if she could help me, and she continued to slouch in her chair and said with what. I explained what I needed and she said I'm just the receptionist and pointed to a person who could help me. Never once did she sit up straight in her chair or show any semblance of friendliness. I waited for the person she pointed to. This person was no better than the receptionist. She acted as if I was a complete bother, I explained what I needed (a specific sized piece of carpet), she explained that it would need to be custom cut and it's really expensive and acted as though I couldn't afford it. She was quite wrong with that assumption. She continued to be irritated with my questions and basically treated me like she wanted me out of her department. I left and will not go back to RC Willey for carpet. Then we move on to the mattress department, walked by an employee, he said hello but didn't bother asking if we needed help, which was fine with us. Someone eventually came over to ask if we needed help, again, another very unhappy, depressed acting person. We told him what we needed and he showed us a few mattresses but when he would talk to us he sat down or leaned on the beds, couldn't be bothered to stand up straight and act like we were a welcomed customer. Not friendly at all. We left and went to Mattress Dealz and bought our mattress. Had any of the employees we encountered would have been halfway friendly we may have bought a few things that day. Every time I visit RC Willey the salespeople are less than friendly. They all seem to have some dark cloud over them, which makes me not want to visit RC Willey for any future purchases. The sales people and managers there are horrible. We purchased what we thought was a great deal Mattress with a base and on the day we were going to pick it up they called us and told us the base wasn't included. They said that they misread the offer and therefore weren't willing to honor the deal, even after we had already paid for it and it was clearly offered on the invoice. Any business that deals with repeat purchasers (as in for the home) shouldn't be giving away deals and then taking them back. Further more they were rude and unhelpful. I would never go there again, save your effort and go somewhere they actually care about their customers. read more

Standing on my feet waiting way to long. Each time they sent me somewhere I had to stand in line. All for a simple return. Lame pushy salesman attack you in every department way annoying...prices are not good for what you get... and the modern dept. Is lacking mostly traditional not my thing. I will never shop here again. I got a living room set from them that was not cheap. 1 couch and 2 chairs for $3, 500. Less than a year into having them the fabric started to rip. I called their customer service and it was like fighting tooth-and-nail to just get them out to look at it. I finally got it on the schedule to be picked up to have them fixed and when the day came no one showed up. I gave them a call and ask where they were and they said I was not on the schedule. They put me on the schedule for the next day and when they came to pick it up they said it would be 1 to 2 weeks. Two weeks roll around and no furniture. I called to ask where it was and they told me they had ordered the wrong part that they needed to send it to the manufacturer and it'd be at least another 2 to 3 weeks. Why did they not call me when they found out they ordered the wrong part and let me know it was going to be long. Who knows bad customer service. So 3 more weeks pass still no furniture I call again and they told me the parts are on backorder and be another four to six weeks before the parts came in and another two actually fix them. I asked for a manager and asked why they didn't send it to the manufacturer to get fixed like they said and why hadn't they called to tell me it would be that much longer. He said they are at the manufacturer and fixed and ready to be picked up that the driver's would pick them up tonight and he would call me to let me know they got there. Their customer service sucks no one can be on the same page. Well guess what no call last night from the manager and so called again today. The driver's didn't pick them up last night and he had no reason why for me and said they couldn't do it today either because they were full that it would have to be tomorrow and he will call me tomorrow. My bet he doesn't call. I have been promised 5 different times I would receive calls back and they can't even do that. read more

I love RC Willey! Craig Ekstrom helped me. I found a dryer that was the same price as the used one I bought somewhere else that didn't work. Craig really took care of me. They were out of stock of the dryer I was looking at so Craig walked me over to clearance and we found an even better deal. When I went to Will Call they gave me a free yard stick and a free cookie. I went to buy a bedroom set, and thought their prices were a bit high. I looked up the same bedroom set online and it was $1,500 cheaper. RC Willey gave me the online price from the competitor which was nice and we purchased the items through them. They have the 36-month no interest on their finance plan which made it easier. (We also bought a Tempur-pedic bed from Ashley Furniture and they have a 72-month interest free plan, which is better.)The delivery guys were nice but we had to reject a couple of items that were damaged in transit. Just now waiting on perma-hold with their customer service department to find out the disposition of the rest of my delivery. read more

RC Willey is fine. I'm not super impressed. They have a huge selection. You can get pretty much anything you want, but it just seems pricey but the quality doesn't seem that much better than a lot of other places. I feel like I want to frequent this place since it's a local establishment, but it just doesn't make sense with IKEA right next door. I can go anywhere to by a $2,200 bed. I'll go to Ethan Allan in that case. For the quality of what you get here, I feel like it should be a little less expensive. But what do I know honestly? My husband and I had recently purchased a bed from the RC Willey Draper store. I was told by another RC Willey customer service that the item that I was looking for was sold out. While I was at the Draper store, I went to Customer Service to check if they had this particular item. I spoke to Chante'. She checked the inventory and found that there were two in stock at the warehouse. She placed the item on hold until I was able to pick it up the next day. She was extremely helpful, polite, kind and professional. I was extremely impressed by her willingness to go the extra mile for me as a customer. I really appreciated her positive and friendly demeanor. I'm very grateful that she took the time and was able to resolve my issue. I am re-writing this review after a bad experience turned good. We purchased a new three-piece appliance set for our kitchen and had delivery dates for all of our items. We sold our old appliances and were planning to have everything ready and cleaned the day of delivery. A mishap with the delivery cause them to cancel our delivery and have us be without appliances. After talking to the manager Andrew about this, he refunded our delivery fee and paid for us to rent her own delivery truck to come and pick the items up. Although it was difficult and we had not planned to do this, I was grateful that he was easy to work with and that he sought to make things right immediately. He was easy to talk to on the phone and was not accusatory at all. He wanted to get to the bottom of things and wanted to find out where they had gone wrong. We love our three new appliances and hope to continue shopping here because of this better experience. read more

We found a really nice entertainment center on clearance today at RC Willey. The staff was very friendly & helpful & they threw in some free cookies for our girls. The general store was slightly over-priced in my opinion, but the clearance stuff was good quality & there were some really good deals. We were disappointed that they couldn't deliver our new clearance purchase for 2 weeks, which is why I'm giving 4 stars (and not 5). read more

Bought a bed room set 5 months ago, they delivered it as promise. They call me and E mail me be For delivery. No problems. The delivery persons put the bed together, and assembled the mirrors for the dresser. They clean up the trash before they left. Because of their services I purchase another dresser from them. Although my experience purchasing my washing machine was a pleasant one, the delivery of the washer has been a nightmare! The delivery was made at 9:00 pm at night which was very inconvenient for me as an older single women. Then the delivery guy dented the washer and they had to return it. They promised me that I would be the first delivery Monday morning. When it wasn't here at 10:30 my daughter called customer service to try to find out what time it would be delivered. However there was a 45 minute wait time to speak to a customer service rep. So she called the store and spoke to someone in appliances and they promised to find out what time and call me right back. 50 minutes later he called and told me it would be between 5:30-7:30 pm. Meanwhile I had to cancel my lunch appointment with a dear friend and again I wait all day for a late delivery. I'm not certain if I can shop there again after shopping with RC Willey for over 40 years. read more
