During my recent visit, the price was significantly increased without prior notice. When I questioned it, I was told it was due to a doctor's examination. However, in previous visits, the doctor only stopped by briefly (30-40 seconds to ask how I was doing), and the charge remained the same. This lack of transparency is disappointing. Patients deserve to know what they're being charged for ahead of time. Unfortunately, experiences like this make it hard to trust the practice, and it's not a good way to retain customers.

I've had dentists walk away & send me off because they have no patience. Dr Miguel Rielo on his day off came To help me from his heart & I admire him. I grind teeth badly at night, eating a piece of meat I broke a molar. Leaving me super ugly & abcess on my face. :( He had the balls & patience to successfully handle me. As big of a baby I am when it comes to the dentist. He made sure I got my X-ray, & successfully removed my nasty molar. Made it look like magic. Even gave me extra anesthesia. I went to him as my family dentist out of town till 20th. He was successful & patient. Very nice calling me a pretty girl even though I look like man right now, very distorted. He didn't shame me, he worked with me even as bad I cried with fear due to my ptsd with dentist in my younger years. He was nice. Prescribed me my antibiotics. Now I pray I will be cute again. To continue me shenanigans once more. It's nice to see a dentist that doesn't make fun of your fear of them being covered in tattoos. He definitely showed me kindness. That's what matters. So unprofessional and inconsiderate to patients. First and last time that I visit this clinic. In top of that, if you have Delta Dental, they will charge you out of pocket for "cancer screaming" which is the doctor touching your tongue "looking for a tumor". I'd recommend specifically telling them not to do that because they'll charge you after the fact without asking you first if you're ok. I really can't imagine a worst clinic. Stay away.

Thus, there isn't anything a dentist can tell me that I haven't already heard. That being said, it's really hard for me to find a dentist I like. Queue, The Bite Dental. Being that it is 2018, I found them on Instagram. I liked the decor, the attitude, etc., so I called and made an appointment. They emailed me the paperwork to fill out beforehand and send back. Great. I actually appreciate this, because who wants to sit around and fill out paperwork at 9:00AM? I met with Dr. E, the general dentist. Very sweet woman, but knows when to be serious. She recommended treatments for me, and gave me advice. Never tried to upsell me any treatment she didn't deem necessary. Susan their dental hygienist is an angel. Extremely charismatic and knows her stuff. I've gone to hygienist who recommend deep cleanings and full mouth debridement that weren't needed. My only qualm is their hours. They're open M-F from 9:00AM-5:00PM which makes it difficult for corporate employees to get appointments. Hopefully they'll open up Saturdays in the near future to cater to that crowd. But if you're in the market for a new dentist, who knows the latest technologies and is honest. The dentists at The Bite Dental are the dentists for you!
