Imagine the ease of connecting directly with your doctor, bypassing the usual intermediaries, and avoiding the long wait times associated with traditional healthcare. Consider the relief of not having to navigate insurance complexities and waiting for decisions about your health. This is the convenience and peace of mind that Direct Primary Care with Dr. Stephanie Lersch, M.D., offers. You can talk to Dr. Lersch directly at any time without waiting, which is possible through Direct Primary Care, a unique model of medical care. This model not only allows for immediate access to your doctor but also eliminates the need for insurance approval for basic healthcare services, reducing administrative hassles and delays. Dr. Lersch uses this model, which involves a direct billing and payment arrangement between you and your family doctor without involving insurance providers, ensuring that your healthcare decisions are not influenced by third parties. After being under the care of Dr. Lersch for five years now, I can attest to her being the finest physician I've ever encountered. Her exceptional medical expertise, which includes family medicine as a general physician, along with her compassionate approach and dedication to helping others, truly sets her apart in her profession. I can't recall the last time I received such exceptional medical care. Dr. Lersch's intuition regarding my post-surgery symptoms, which the overseeing doctor dismissed, saved my life. It turned out to be a reasonably large hematoma that had to be drained. Dr. Lersch not only saved my life but also addressed several ignored issues, including a 5 cm hiatal hernia. She referred me to surgery to fix it despite other doctors saying it was nothing to worry about. That surgery has significantly improved my quality of life, as has Dr. Lersch herself. Vitality Direct Primary Care offers numerous benefits, including same-day or next-day appointments, more extended visits, various telehealth options, and 24/7 access to your doctor. Dr. Lersch's ability to dedicate more time to each patient creates a personalized and attentive environment, making her a standout physician. Her office is as welcoming and friendly as she is, and she treats patients of all ages and from all walks of life. She is an LGBTQIA+ friendly doctor and ally, and she has been personally helping me as a transgender male and has been incredibly supportive of me on my journey. Her commitment to patient diversity ensures that all patients, regardless of their background or identity, feel respected and understood in her care. I love Dr. Lersch for her clear and thorough explanation of conditions and treatments, her attentiveness to my feelings and opinions, and her kindness and willingness to listen. She consistently takes the time to address my questions thoughtfully, and she is always ready to conduct further research or provide referrals to specialists when necessary. Dr. Lersch consistently offers follow-up appointments as required and encourages patients to take an active role in their own health and well-being. In my experience, she is an exceptional physician who is warm, friendly, intelligent, and highly skilled in family medicine. Her commitment to patient advocacy ensures that your health concerns are not only addressed but also understood and respected, fostering a personalized and attentive healthcare environment. I cannot think of a more qualified physician to recommend. Dr. Lersch is genuinely exceptional, and I am impressed by her Direct Primary Care model. I rarely write such lengthy reviews, but I wanted to emphasize her excellence. I highly recommend her and am grateful to have her as my doctor. If you're ready to experience the benefits of Direct Primary Care and the exceptional care of Dr. Lersch, I encourage you to visit her website at vitalitydpc.org or email info@vitalitydpc.org to schedule a consultation!

Sad shd retired 3 or 4 years go. I am a health professional and exceptional care is very important to me. I had an appointment today . I arrived 1 or 2 minutes late and front staff had already gone to see if the " new" Dr. Davis would still see me. By the way the front office staff is the absolute best as far as caring, informative, friendly and all around absolute " dears"!!! I was told I had to reschedule!! I know patients being on time is important but in 38 years of practicing myself, I have NEVER told a patient to reschedule at 2 minutes late! As a matter of fact from a professional courtesy point of view, the staff should have never had to ask " if" I could still be seen. To each their own. . I have an appointment in 4 days and will consider whether to remain a patient at Family Care at Arbor Walk to honor the huge success Dr. Paula Davis (and Dr. Britton- Meilisch ) are now having.I also live in Overland Park so quite a drive to see a " great" doc Dr. Paula was ( she would have never told me to reschedule ) I thoroughly understand " running on time" and respecting appointment times plus the staff and patients'time and lastly " office policies" BUT 2 minutes late!!@*#!@!! But I will consider the professional courtesy that was not extended to me. 2 stars for today. Otherwise 5 stars for front office staff. 4 stars for Dr. Brityon- Meilisch( seen as an emergency at KU Medwest and Arbor Walk.

I'm was puzzled and confused and had to go online to research just what this diet consisted of. He is not someone who sits down with the patient and addresses their questions and concerns. I've had to wait days and weeks before getting referrals to specialists, including one to an OB-GYN regarding a suspicious lump on my right breast, which turned out to be cancer. Fortunately it was caught early and removed before it spread to the lymph nodes. My roommate saw him on June 6 for a referral to a surgeon for repairs of his hernia, but he never got the referral and so I had to call his office last month to find out what was going on. That referral was made June 8th and it wasn't until late last month that I called. He finally had surgery July 25th and is recovering. They've also messed up my medications for diabetes. I was started on 500mg of Metformin to be taken once a day with food, but without my knowledge, I was switched to two 1000mg tablets, to be taken once in the AM and again in the PM, Fine--but then when I went to the pharmacy, I was given a vial of 500mg Metformin tablets, to be taken once daily. What the hell. Dr. Stokes does just the bare minimum when it comes to patient care. If you really want QUALITY medical care from a physician who truly cares about his/her patients, Dr. Stokes is NOT the one for you! Period.
