My husband and I have been a client for less than a year and it caused nothing but stress and work. Whenever we sold a vehicle he wouldn't remove it from our policies instead he would "suspend" them. But when we would get breakdowns of our bill there would still be charges. We sold a house and that remained on our policy as well. Any changes to the policy would take weeks to process and if you call in dont expect to get ahold of him. You will have to leave multiple messages and srt up meetings (plural) to resolve anything. The final straw is when I was selling my car that I had my own policy on and was making my own payments on then we were purchasing a family car to be placed on our joint policy with my husband. We let him know a month in advance and I even went into the office. While in his office I went over the changes needed and he told me to have my husband call in and he would handle it with him. So nothing resulted from that meeting and my husband spent 3 weeks emailing back and fourth with him. When we were finally at the dealership purchasing the new car we still did not have proof of insurance for it. When we called in Monte was unavailable (as usual) and we were told to just show the insurance on my old car that was already sold. We were told there would be a 14 day grace period on coverage for the new car. When I told them we needed proof of insurance to purchase the new car I was told we would have to wait until he was available which could be an hour. When I finally called back in after not hearing back I was given the same run around by a 2nd employee before they finally emailed me a form stating they will process the insurance at some point. Still no insurance card given. At this point we had enough and have since spent over a week trying to change to a different agent. I called in 5 times with no response. My husband finally called the corporate number and had them transfer it that way. The amount of hours we have wasted just trying to have coverage is ridiculous. Thank God we never had to submit a claim through him because I cannot imagine the treatment we would have received. Tldr : zero customer service, impossible to get ahold of, and completely unorganized. I wouldn't recommend this agent to anyone.
