I learned about the holographic universe, the holograms and macrocosms in the microcosm, I learned about our energy bodies, the tree of life, the chakra system, and the Roth repatterning method. I also took a workshop with him on seeing auras. Now he offers weekly teleclasses, which I'm taking now since I moved away from New York. This is all to say that I have extensive experience with what Peter Roth teaches through the Heart River Healing school and it is universally excellent. He is incredibly well-connected in the esoteric world and consistently interviews some of the most interesting people. I just adore Peter's healing energy. He not just a teacher but a energy healer par excellence. Every time I take a class with him, online or in person I feel renewed and hopeful about life. I have referred many people to Peter, including my mother and my boyfriend. They have both loved the work he has done with them. One of the best things that Peter ever did for me was teach me about the Human Design system. I have since gone on to learn much more about this system, and the Gene Keys that come out of this system, and I love it. Fast forward a year and my life was really out of control, I got a promotion, which was good, but also meant that I had a lot of increased responsibilities at work and it was tough balancing my work and home life. I felt lost.. I especially felt like I lost my voice - there were times I felt so frustrated, but when someone asked me what's wrong I couldn't even put it into words! The words were in my mind but I couldn't get them out - they felt stuck. It might've come from years in a traditional Asian household where I was always talked down to and talked over and perhaps the issues fester when I'm under extreme stress - anyway.. So I went on Yelp searching for some answers and thought - ooh! Free first session! Let's try it out! I have to say this was the best thing I ever did for myself. Ben definitely has some healing gifts as I felt the work he did every session (remotely, mind you). Since I can't explain what happened, let me give you an example: First session - I didn't think anything of it, Ben gave me some tips on how to prepare. I did what I was told and laid down - it was an afternoon session (1pm). I was not tired - but immediately fell into a dream-like "nap". The session itself was... odd. Since I write everything down I decided to write the sessions I was feeling directly after the session. I didn't tell Ben, just thanked him and asked for his feedback. He gives great feedback and explanations by the way - never condescending and always with positivity. He doesn't try to over explain or become defensive in anyway, which I appreciate. I trusted Ben and eventually shared my notes after every session. Anyway, Benjamin wrote: "...While we worked to balance all of the seven major centers, I noticed that the sacral (1-2 inches below the belly button) and the throat were two areas that required the most balancing. The sacral is a center of creativity, potency, freedom, personal empowerment and physical intimacy; and the throat is a center of truth, self-expression / radiance of the self and clear communication..." I immediately comparing my notes- I wrote: "Stomach - felt weird/pulsing/a vibration? Throat - a little like a struggle for air or resistance maybe... something was happening. I woke up feeling very dehydrated even though I drank a bottle of water beforehand." Crazy right?? I can't explain it either, but all I know is I feel happy, calm and balanced after my sessions. You schedule a 30 minute initial consult (free) and get to ask him everything you'd like to ask in order to feel confident in your decision. He's also a wealth of knowledge on consciousness/awareness and I was able to explore his philosophy on how he approached his work and how it related to my healing. Whatever you're paying, you're getting more than fair value. On the initial consult, I think he spent about an hour just answering all my questions. During actual session, he again spent more than the allotted time discussing things with me. I've done Reiki a couple of times before but never felt a huge difference. With Deborah, it was different. During the session, Deborah asked questions to understand my needs and concerns. She was positive and warm, and made me feel very comfortable. She also introduced me to flower essences, which I hadn't heard of prior. During the healing session, I yawned a lot (like I was releasing a lot of repressed energy!). I've always been open to but have never done a mediumship before so I didn't know what to expect. First of all, he is extremely personable and professional. Before I could even talk, he was connecting with me and giving me insights and guidance on important areas of my life I hadn't mentioned to him.
