The most successful students in college are the ones that figure this out coming out of high school. There has to be a point to learning a curriculum - better communication, increased creativity, leading innovation, professionalism. These are not notions reserved for adults only, if we promote these notions with our children early, they will rise to the occasion and wow us. I enlisted the help of WWT to help me do that with our kids and supplement (correct) some of the concepts taught in a standard curriculum. I have found Lindsey's philosophy aligned with mine. I want my children to love to learn - about everything. Nowadays, where science and mathematics facts are disputed without regard for the hard work that supports their discovery, it is important that we take a look at how our children are taught to analyze the world. I highly recommend WWT to be your partner in educating your children.

Once we decided on the ACT they helped me raise my score by eight points. I was able to get into the college of my choice early decision. It's within walking distance or a short bus ride from at 3-4 nearby high schools so it was super easy for me to get there after school on my own. I really appreciated being able to take a timed practice test about once a month. Come test day I was super comfortable with the timing and was able to perform my best. It's pricey but it's one of the bet investments my parents made.

We're so thankful for the tutoring Redwood is now providing him via zoom. His tutor is kind, patient, prompt, and gives us specific tips on how to continue helping him at home. We've met with several of the Redwood staff who are experts in their field, approachable, and so helpful when you, as a parent, feel lost but want the best for your kid. Our son is now picking up books to read out loud without being prompted! Last week he even read a book to his younger brother. He's receiving the intervention he needs to succeed in and not dread education.

The staff and teachers treat the children with kindness and respect and encourage them to grow their individual strengths at their own speed. Being at RMS has helped shape my daughter into an amazing little person. She has grown close friendships, learned to be patient, tackled practical life skills, and picked up academics with great speed. RMS also has an amazing community of families. The school actively nurtures connection between the parents by throwing multiple amazing events each year, like a huge pizza and ice cream party each summer and an annual Halloween party. I strongly recommend the school!

He started there at age two after we moved him from a daycare that just wasn't the right fit. From the moment we switched, the difference was incredible. The level of care, attention, and the overall environment were a huge step up. The caregivers are exceptional--warm, engaged, and genuinely happy. It's clear they love what they do. At both drop-off and pickup, they greet you with smiles and take the time to share thoughtful updates about your child's day. And one detail that still amazes me: they do your child's laundry on-site. Game. Changer. I couldn't believe this when I heard it. The food at RMS is great, and we received frequent updates throughout the day, which made it so reassuring (and fun) to see how much our son was enjoying himself. He truly thrived at RMS. We would have happily stayed at RMS for years, but we ultimately moved our son to a preschool where his sister attends so we could have one dropoff/pickup. That said, RMS set an incredibly high bar--it will be hard, if not impossible, to match. For any RMS staff reading this - thank you, you are amazing and the impact you have on families is enormous. A few random but important notes: - They open at 7 am, which is a bit unique for daycares in the city (I believe most are 7:30), and allows for a slightly earlier drop off. Our son is an early riser so this was great. - You have free 30 min parking for pickup/dropoff in the parking lot. Loved this. - La Boulangerie is also in the first floor of the building so the occasional morning croissant and coffee was a nice perk.

CHILD NEGLECT If i…read morecould give a negative 100, I would. this daycare literally LEFT MY CHILD ALONE in a public park and went right back to school. Thankfully, there were 3 women there that called the police and ensured that the person that ran back there was actually the "caretaker." They have taken no steps to discipline the "teachers" responsible, other than administrative leave. One of the owners has been in communication with me, but was incredibly pedantic on the phone. Through email, she has continually tried to reframe everything. I highly recommend avoiding every location involved with this company. I will definitely be including the DCFS report the minute that i receive it. edit: the owner i spoke of responded with "oh no" on this review. there have been no real steps to ensure this is a safe place for ANY parent to send their children. Considering the costs, it is likely best to consider a nanny or someone that will keep your children safe. edit 2:: Their contact a person at DCFS that literally laughed at me when i made my report: her name is Helen Martin. I spoke with other DCFS employees and they were absolutely appalled by her behavior. This is clearly unacceptable and L&L has been neglectful. Even better, the "oh no," that the owner listed was excused as an "accidental click." Please do not trust your children with this deceptive, dishonest, neglectful daycare

They truly nurture and grow your little ones intellectually and emotionally. Ms. Sharonda is an impressive director and we feel lucky to have her not only leading the center but leading our son's preschool class. His abilities have exploded since he moved into her room and we're excited for his academic future with such a strong foundation. Similarly, Ms. Lauren has been so wonderful to work with in the infant room. Very accommodating of our preferences and willing to work with us on the little details. If we ever had another we'd send them here without hesitation even though it's not close to where we live!

Our almost 4 year old daughter has been attending Little Marvels since she was 15 months. Coming…read morefrom a nanny share where I got a loose recap of what went on during the day, I was so impressed by the app the school uses to tell you every time they go to the bathroom, how long they've slept, and all of the activities they've done (with photos) throughout the day. More importantly, every time I drop my daughter off at the school, she not only gets a warm welcome from her teachers, but also every other employee of LM as we bring her to her classroom. The director of the school has done a wonderful job selecting loving, attentive, patient and hard working teachers. We love LM so much, that we didn't even consider going elsewhere when our son was born. He has been attending LM since he was 4 months and is currently thriving in the toddler room. Furthermore, something I never thought about prior to having my kids in daycare is the importance of transparency. I've been surprised at how much information I receive not only about my child, but also about the employees, the neighborhood and the school. For example, if your kid bites/hits/kicks another child or vice versa, you sign an incident report when you pick them up. (My daughter was a biter. I've signed quite a few of these). You get emails whenever there's a transition in staff, emails on what is happening at local parks, emails on what they'll be eating next month, and the list goes on. My husband and I have always felt in the loop and we appreciate the efforts LM puts into informing the parents. Lastly, I believe one of the most stressful parts of becoming a new parent is finding the right care for your child. We all experience sticker shock and worry if our child will receive the same care they receive at home. Little Marvels has surpassed my husband and my expectations of what a daycare can be. Yes, it's expensive, but you break down the price hourly it's around 10/hour. I personally believe that the people that work with our children are some of the most undervalued employees and we need to rethink what these hardworking individuals get paid to care for our children. When I pick up my kids and find them comfortable and happy, I know that the price we pay is worth every penny. I highly recommend Little Marvels to all parents and feel incredibly lucky to have been able to send both of my children to such a loving place.

The director and teachers are wonderful. Our son is learning new things every day. I especially like the fact that his class is mixed age, so the children learn from each other. Gardening, art projects, trips to the park, singing, alphabet, talking about the weather. In addition to all that greatness, they are also fed organic family style lunches. My son's pallet has expanded beyond mac and cheese since he started attending this preschool. The place is clean and bright and kids seem to be genuinely happy to be there.

My daughter has been difficult lately with plenty of toddler tantrums but they set her straight and clean up after her mess. This place is a very good investment for your children. Teacher retention is great and if there are teachers that are leaving - transitions were smooth. The director returns your emails/calls within 24 hours. One of my favorite features is the website - the teachers update the classroom blog daily. It's nice to see pictures of my daughter in the middle of the work day to see how she's doing.
