They provided us with English menus but were also so willing to explain the specials on their regular menu so that way we could know of the other foods they have available. The owner (or manager) was so friendly and got a toy for the baby in our party. The food was so good. We ended up getting schnitzel and the dessert which was extremely tasty. Inside the restaurant it was extremely clean and the decor was super cute. I'd highly recommend coming here to eat.

They have a buffet for Sunday brunch which is quite substantial with lots of variety from breakfast through to lunch and dessert items on offer. I really enjoyed the pasta and fish that was on offer today and absolutely loved the fresh warm Breze on offer. Coffee here is also good and the atmosphere is really fantastic. There was a piano player on who was playing some nice tunes and we hung around for 3 hours and had a fabulous brunch. Would come back here in a heartbeat for Sunday brunch :-))

I will always come here when we are in Munich! Many thanks for a wonderful experience.

A solid German restaurant full of German food and German people…read more We came here in the winter, so I can't comment much on the biergarten (we ate inside). The food is typical German fare, which means very few vegetables, and lots of heavy delicious fatty and fried foods. We tried a variety of sausages and schnitzel and everything was very good, though not transformative. Beer selection was extensive. One of our German friends recommended the place and there were definitely quite a few locals there, so I think it's safe to say if you're craving German food you can't go wrong here.

Especially the large tables for six, eight or more people are often cordoned off or not freely usable, which also loses the typical inn feeling. It is also striking that only a few German-speaking employees can be found. Overall, the atmosphere seems to me rather impersonal and not very hospitable. The prices are typical of Munich, while the quality does not keep up from my point of view - the price-performance ratio is therefore not right for me. Too bad, because the original location certainly had its charm. The rooms themselves are beautiful and have a pleasant, high ceiling, but it is therefore and due to the size it is partly quite noisy. The location is excellent and very easy to reach by subway. Overall, I unfortunately have the impression that the concept no longer fits the premises and the original Munich idea of the restaurant. In the meantime, there is not much left of a cozy, authentic Bavarian inn for me. Only Asian lifestyle - English - without soul or coziness.
